I love that tray. One of these days I am going to try my hand at painting (I am just so busy right now). My goal is roses. I figure if I can conquer roses I probably could paint just about anything else!
Take care, Susan
I love that tray too! I bet you will find a way to get enough herbs out of those tiny plants:) Have a great evening!
That tray is absolutely gorgeous, great find!! You know I'm loving the roses, and I am really starting to fall in love with the Robin's egg blue too!!

LOVE the tray. It is absolutely stunning. They are so hard to find and usually very expensive, you found such a gorgeous one. Love the herbs too. Hugs, Marty

THAT tray is gorgeous, green, whoa! I love it. Very nice ... they are soooo costly in antique malls now & never in that great a condition usually. TTFN ~ Marydon
BJ, that's a cute tray - you know that matches my sunporch perfectly - You watch, you'll get those herbs a growin' before you know it. ~ Robyn
BJ, I love that tray! The colours in it are stupendous and would go with anything.

LUV your tray BJ. Like you I LUV the shape of it as well! Can't wait to see what you do with your herbs. They are cute!
I remember a big ol' black painted tray my granny kept hanging in her kitchen -- I sure wish I had it now, but I have no idea where it ended up. Makes me smile to remember it though!
Oh BJ that tray is just beautiful! You lucky girl. :)
BJ, pay no attention to that slurping sound...you know how I love toleware ;)

Dena
Hi Dear BJness! Oh, I too love your olden tray! It's gorgeous! I sure do wish I could paint like that! I have a cream colored one with painted roses and I don't have the heart to use it ~ you've inspired me!
Be a sweetie,

I love the touches of blue you've chosen to share with us today. They are lovely. Have a great day.
Your tray is beautiful. I love the colors and the roses are great. Your little herb plants are cute. Looks like they will have to grow a bit before you will be able to cook with them! :)
Christi
Your tray is absolutely beautiful! I only ever see black ones, and certainly not in as excellent a condition as this one is. Did you plant from seeds, or what? Cause I have never seen herb plants that tiny! LOL Try some fertilizer, FAST!
:-) Sue
BJ, I love the painted tole tray...I collect them...I have scads of them...it's my weakness. I think I may need an intervention. :)
Have a Blessed Monday!
Hugs,
Robin
Hello BJ, home from camping and now rand kids week. Chaos and craziness is the order of the day. We are having great fun and before you know it, we will be all alone and the quiet will be awful. also wonderful!!! BIG smile here.
I do love your gorgeous hand painted tray. The artwork is wonderful. Your mom could have done that with her talent. My sister has done tole painting like that too. I do not have a drop of art talent. The trays are not easy to find anymore and if you do find one who could afford it???
It is so good to be commenting and posting again. I have missed reading your posts and reading your comments too.
Love...Jeanne
Love that tray! Robin Egg Blue is one of my favourite colours! Thanks for sharing & Happy Blue Monday!
bj! Look at that tray! It's stunning! I love hand painted things! :) And blue things too! Thanks so much for stopping over and leaving such wonderful warm compliments to the Buffalo News feature. As glad as I am that it happened, I'm even more glad that it's over. LOL! Talk about stressful! :)
LOVE that tray!
Beautiful tray BJ! Give those herbs a chance, they'll fill the pots eventually:>)
I remember seeing this tray on your white tablescape. I am glad you showed it again up close because I think it is so beautiful. I love that shade of blue, and of course, I am a big fan of the pretty painted flowers. Thanks for sharing this!
Kady
That tray really is gorgeous. Reminds me of one my grandmother had many years ago. It was black, with those same kind of roses painted on it.
Love your little herbs too. I've got cilantro and scallions growing, but the scallions aren't doing too well.
Justine :o )
Ohhh!! I do love that tray. I have a red one that is similar, but that shade of blue is really yummy!! Sally
Hi BJ, your tray is lovely....so soft. I had a black tray like this at one time....don't know what happened to it. Maybe I need to do some digging. Ha.
Your little plants are too cute.
Hugs, Barb
Howdy BJ
