SHARE A GARDEN and SHADOW SHOT SUNDAY

I am just beside myself to be joining in with sweet ARTIE
I'm afraid I am rushing it a little...
my rose bushes aren't producing really well yet...
my Rose of Sharon's have buds all over them but....
no blooms as yet...
*
But, I decided to post anyway and will do it again when my blooms happens..:)
*
Stop by and see pretty gardens and flowers all over Blogland...
and tell Artie thanks for hosting.
*
My Star Jasmine...I just planted it this spring so it won't get too large
this summer...hoping by next, tho, that it will be climbing the old picket fence section behind it....
and produce those adorable white STARS....
can't wait... ..but I am SO not a gardener. If something lives in my garden,
it is just pure happenstance !!
*
This little country garden plot is at the edge of my
front lawn...it's like a little wildflower garden !
....lots of buds here...
I love day lilies
*

Dusty Miller......and I can't even remember the name of this red flower...is it verbenas?
*

HUGE clusters of flowers on the Trumpet Vine...they are really pretty this year..guess all the rain made them happy !

*NOTE TO JUSTINE...did you notice ...I spelled 'huge' right ?!!! :)
*

MR. SWEET'S topsy turvey planter
tomatoes are going gangbusters...these are the cherry tomatoes...
and he also has little tiny peppers on his pepper plant..
*
One big tomato on the Beefeater tomato plant but lots of little yellow blooms...
I happen to LOVE fried green tomatoes but I am trying to contain myself....
he wants this tomato to get bigger and ripe!!
I am hoping there will be more than one... GOOD GRIEF !
*
this is a photo from last season of the little purple flowers that fall off EVERY evening and
have a brand new little purple flower every morning...just blows my mind !
They haven't got into full bloom this year but will add a new photo when they do..
*

All the blooms are off this plant...bwaaaaa...I hope they will come back.
The worst part...I didn't even think to dry them....what's wrong with me ?
* *****************************

I also wanted to join SHADOW SHOT SUNDAY...
my first time ! *blush
Be sure to go over to HEY, HARRIET, our gracious host and
visit her and the others showing off their SHADOW SHOTS...
*
I guess this is just SHADE instead of SHADOW but I like the photo....
*
*
I really enjoyed finding shadow and shade photos and
enjoyed even more looking at the others offered.
*********************************************************
have a blessed and happy day...

Ahhhhh, flowers take my breath they are so beautiful! We got lots of rain here and now not a drop. It is amazing how quickly things dry out. Lovely pictures! Have a blessed Sunday!

BJ, all your blooms and greens are wonderful. I would love to have some home grown tomatoes.

Well, your plants sure look a heck of a lot better than mine here in East Texas! No rain and stifling heat makes for angry plants! Everything is just beautiful and lush there. I'm sure you have a lot to do with your yard looking this good.

Hi BJ,

Oh - goodness - what a lovely garden you have. Your shadow shot turned out great. I usually try not to shoot shadows and after looking at your photograph I will start doing some shadow shots.
Thank you so much for helping out with the dog scarf project - looks like we have 10 - 12 more bloggers who are decorting scaves from the publicity you gave us.
Have a great week.
Blessings,
Erin

I think that flower is a geranium. I love your hydrangeas.

Hi BJ! Your flowers are looking GORGEOUS! I love pretty flowers, just don't like the heat, mosquitos, weeds, etc. So if something grows in my yard (and there ARE lots of flowers) it pretty much has to be foolproof and super easy to grow. I find that if I stick with the old time native plants, I usually have better luck. You are such a treasure, and your joy for living SHINES through to make everything around you brighter! Have a great week!

Oh bj, this was stunning! I don't think you were rushing into this at all - it's all gorgeous! We have those orange daylilies too. I love them, Scott isn't so happy about them. They apparently are impervious here. Simply stunning though - and I SOOOOO appreciate you playing along with Share a Garden Sunday! You're welcome every time!

Your flowers are just gorgeous, BJ! My hydrangeas haven't bloomed yet, in fact they're just now forming the flower part. Everything looks lovely in your garden:-) We just got our veggie garden planted a couple of weeks ago so everything is just now starting to come up. Nothing will be ready to harvest for a few weeks, though. The growing season is so late and short here in Northern Ontario. xoxo
