IT'S STRAWBERRY SEASON and I'm lovin' it....

when i saw this 'bowl of strawberries'
i KNEW Sweet Nothings Cottage HAD to have some !!
these are all handmade, by Kathy, out of vintage
fabrics that she had on hand.
*

(i tried to find some sunlight streaming in for my photos..like Kathy's photo..
but too late in the morning....) :O(

THE BOX the berries came in...O HONEY...

Kathy ALWAYS goes way beyond when she packs
a product that you've ordered from her adorably stocked Etsy Shop..
this little birdhouse box, topped with a beautiful little

SPRING green bow with daises on it and

A RED AND WHITE CHECKED STRAWBERRY

is the CUTEST little thing and I will find a good spot to show it off
in my cottage...

KATHY is so talented with so many things...
If you've not visited her sweet blog and her Etsy shop,

PLEASE do yourself a favor and DO !
if you have something you would like hand made...please

check with her...i think she does some custom orders..

I love this girl and so will you....she is sure A KEEPER !
*****************************
thank you, KATHY...i just love it all.....

my little strawberry patch !!

Give me a nice, big bowl with some XXX sugar and real cream and I'll sit down and make short order of those strawberries of yours. Uhm, looks like they might soak up a lot of my cream...how much do you think I need...a gallon☺

Hey BJ! Love those strawberries and I would have paid money just for the gorgeous little box they came in! lol I will have to go by and visit her. Thanks so much for checking on me sweetie..losing little Maggie was harder on me than I ever imagined it would be....but I been keeping myself busy...I have wanted to paint the lower cabinets in the kitchen black for some time now...I have always loved the two color look like you have in your kitchen so I just took the plunge and I am loving it!...I kept the top the creamy white glazed and now the countertops just really show up and the black actually makes the kitchen feel warmer and more anchored to me. Bill & I started a little mini garden for little Sofie and Bailey..tomatoes..cucumbers...watermelons...they come up everyday to check on it..Bailey actually came up last night with his flashlight and said..."come on Maw Maw...lets go see if my tomatoes have growed!" lol Oh lordy BJ it was the sweetest thing..both of us out there with a flashlight counting his little green tomatoes! lol lol
Hope all is well on your side of the mountain dear friend and that you are having a glorious week!
