It comes in many different forms....

LOVE
HEALTH....to name a few.
*
MY prayer is that YOU find YOUR
POT OF GOLD !
GOOD IRISH LUCK TO YE, WEE ONES !

My thanks to DIANE for hosting this fun day...
When you stop by and leave her sweet words,
she will have a list of MORE fun places to go...
and THANK YOU for coming by my place today...
*
THIS little metal, vintage kitchen stool was in
such bad shape when I found it in a thrift shop about 10 years ago...
I sanded, primed and painted it BLACK....
*
then, while looking through a decorating magazine one day,
I saw one in an adorable kitchen, just like MY stool except that it had
her husband's race car NUMBER painted on it....so cute...
OK...MR. SWEET NOTHINGS had a high school football NUMBER...
hmmmm...so he kindly (and PROUDLY, I might add) painted
HIS number on my stool...making it much more personal...
and I do love it. It sets close to my pantry and comes in handy
for reaching that highest shelf....!!
YAY...GO, NUMBER 57 !!!!
*******************************************
*
Our sweet sisters, KARI & KIJSA
are hosts for this fun fun
PILLOW PARADE
Oh, my...some beautiful and unique pillows
are on parade for your viewing enjoyment.
*
I am afraid my offerings aren't FANCY but
then again, not too much fanciful stuff
around SWEET NOTHINGS COTTAGE...
ahh, I want a FANCY pillow....
but, here's some that I like....
*
Bed pillows...

*

*
I love love RED and YELLOW together...
*
A plain and simple POLKA DOT....
*
MY most favorite pillow of all time !!
*
Our hosts for this fabulous
PILLOW PARADE
made this adorable, one of a kind pillow (aren't they so talented!!)
and my friend KRISTINA
bought it and had it sent to me.
bwaaaaaaaa! how sweet....
THANK YOU, KRISTINA
and thanks to you, KARI & KIJSA,
for making such lovely things and for hosting
this fun day for us!
*
SPEAKING OF "PILLOWS".....
If you haven't seen this 1959 movie, rent it sometime...
A REALLY PRECIOUS MOVIE...

XO bj
p.s. CAN anyone tell me why my blog background dress takes so long to come up?
AND, how can I fix it ? Too many photos ? Do I need to create another blog
and put all my archives on it? Would that help the slowness of downloading
my main page of my original blog?
*confused state of mind, here!!
:O(
OOOOOOO, and HAPPY 40TH ANNIVERSARY TO
BO over at BLINKS AND WINKS FROM BROWN EYES..
and many, MANY more!!

I love all of your beautiful pillows. I've been coveting for some time that adorable rabbit pillow.
I don't know what would make your blog dress load so slowly! :(
Be a sweetie,

How pretty your blog looks, BJ! And I love the little stool, and Mr. SN's number on it makes it even more special.

Your pillows are so pretty and perfect for your beautiful cottage.

Oh, I almost forgot! I love the movie Pillow Talk, too! They don't make them like that anymore, do they!

Top o’ the mornin’ to ya! Thank you for the music.

I love the story of Mr. SN's chair and #57.

Your pillows are much nicer than mine. Mine are so plain that they won't let me snap a picture!

Hi, BJ! I love all of your pillows (I think you knew I would!), and I love that cute metal stool with your husband's football letter. Very clever and fun! I can remember a stool similar to that one in my aunt's kitchen. :-)

I forgot to put up my favorite Irishman for you, but I did on my sidebar. He's my favorite soap star man of all time! Don't know if you've ever watched soaps, but he was on three of them! Come take a look!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Sheila :-)

Mornin' BJ...

Was so happy to find your note at my place this morning...thank you, my friend! Ohhhh...I see that you have one of the sister's bunny pillows, how very sweet of your friend to get that for you!!!

I just love all of your pillows, but must admit that the black & white toile pillows mixed in with that pretty red pillow were my favorites!!!

You did a fabulous job refurbishing that vintage metal stool and the fact that your honey painted his football number on it...just precious!!!

Well my friend, I'm not exactly sure why your page loads slowly but I this might be one reason...the more you limit the number of daily posts per page...the faster it loads! Simply because it doesn't have to load as many photos, etc. You can change this by going first to "customize"...then to the Settings tab...and next to formatting...at the top of this page it asks how many posts you want to show! If you limit your posts to 3,4,or 5...your page will download faster. Just a suggestion, it's the only thing I can think of....hope that helps!!!

Have a terrific Tuesday, my friend!

hi! just got your comment....what if you got one of those window box things that is on legs? it is a stand type thing...that way you won't have to drill into the bricks on your house...if I think of anything else...I will absolutely be back!

Hi BJ, forgot to say...your blog came up quickly for me. Sometimes if my computer starts to drag, I try rebooting and if that doesn't solve it, I go to "Tools" and choose "internet options" and then delete temporary files. That clears out a lot of stuff (the cache) and sometimes helps. Best of luck...hope it speeds up for ya.

We had tickets to see the Celtic Woman on Mar 1st....an hour from our home. The day we had 8 inches of snow. We couldn't go :-(. The concert was not cancelled....they would not refund our money.....but if Celtic Woman comes back to the same arena they will consider giving us replacement tickets. I hope they come back...We would love to see them.

I just love all of your pillows. Beautiful fabric makes the pillow! Your stool in the kitchen is wonderful as well! Thanks for introducing Celtic Women. Really lovely music and I'd never heard of them before.

As to your blog problems, I think blogger is having a hard time. I had the worst problem Monday. I couldn't navigate anywhere and couldn't upload without trying over and over again. Even then I couldn't get everything to work.

Have a great day!
