Most of you know that this FIGHT FOR THE CURE is my pet project...
Altho I have not much money to donate to the cause...
I DO have the time to devote to HELP SPREAD THE AWARENESS of this most dreaded disease
THAT IS STRIKING DOWN OUR SISTERS AND, SOMETIMES, OUR BROTHERS...
*
PINK SATURDAY just seems to be saying to me....
"HEY, bj...you are ALWAYS trying to think of ways to help in this fight...USE ME" !!
signed, PINK SATURDAY.

This site has so SO many things that can be purchased

Oh ! Won't it be wonderful once more and more,
ladies (and gents) start wearing more of
THE PINK...
to keep this fight foremost in our minds ....
so that when we need a gift for someone,
we will automatically think of buying items that
SUPPORT THE CAUSE....THE FIGHT....THE CURE !!!!!
*

More SEEDS OF HOPE...

I'm totally in love with THIS beauty...
I want this for several ladies that are on my
"I LOVE YOU" list....
*
One of my favorite items that will find their way
into stockings next CHRISTMAS....
I JUST LOVE 'EM...
and I JUST LOVE the message they send out, even more !

BJ, this is a great post with lots of things that make you very aware of a great cause! I hate cancer with the heat of a thousand blazing suns! I look forward to a day when the word is archaic, when cancer has been wiped from the face of the earth. I've had too many people I know and love battle that nasty thing, and I don't want to see it happen to anyone else I love or anyone period. Thanks for the awareness prompts...

Happy Pink Saturday!

XO,

Sheila :-)

Good morning BJ, thank you for your sweet comment about my Trippy. Like your mom's poodle, Trippy learned so many tricks, she had her own tutu and entertained the neighborhood kids. sigh, I still miss her so much.

Your post today is awesome. I learned so much about how many things there are out there to support breast Cancer. My oldest sister is a breast cancer survivor. This cause is close to my heart. Thank you for your message and information today. The best pink Sat. post today bar none.

This is one of my causes too, and its why I have the button at the top of my blog so that more money can be donated to breast cancer research and for free mammograms for women.

I have been the recipient of some of those free mammograms. I get them yearly, especially after I found out that they aren't as painful as I expected. Yes, there is pressure on "the girls" but I didn't experience any actual pain.

Great post about a great cause!

Bj, Thanks for your comment. I'm enjoying the Pink Saturady very much. Such a precious pink post the cause is near and dear to my heart. I donated my hair last year. Only to find out it takes 6 pony tails to make one wig for some one in need. But I was happy to help. And a Happy Pink Day to you!

It seems lately that more and more people I know are dealing with cancer in some form. (maybe it's my age). I have been a follower of Julie's blog for awhile now and she is such a sweet gal. I cried last year when she blogged about losing her precious horse. Now her hubby is sick.
Thanks for putting the word out.

BJ, What a beautiful pink post.
Cancer can be such a hopeless thing for so many people today.
A lady that subs for our bridge club just went for six month checkup and was told her cancer is back in two different places. She has been fighting for 5 years and I just wonder how does one go on, with treatment after treatment.

The friend in my blog(lady with an attitude) has cancer and she is so brave.
Time has come to wipe out this terrible disease. Thanks for reminding everyone to give and prayer for a cure to cancer.

Roy's mother is slipping away a little at a time. Please pray for her.

Hi BJ- Just getting here for Foodie Friday, and got very caught up in this post. I'm a 5 year breast cancer survivor and just wanted to say thank you. Awareness is so critical. God Bless your big, beautiful heart for helping to spread the word. Hugs- Nancy

They used to say that you would have someone from your inner circle who would have cancer. It certainly has escalated from that time. I have lost so many to cancer, including my one my very best friends, Donna, who died when she was 50. She's become a grandma since then and has missed all of that joy. I miss her still. Hopefully, the cure is just around the corner and with folks like you that continue to get the word out, I'm sure it is.

Warm blessings,
Spencer

Thank you for this wonderful post, Jean. You know how close to my heart this is. I especially like the two bracelets and bookmark. Maybe I'll have to get some of them for my girls' Christmas stockings. Do you think that might protect them from suffering this awful disease? Couldn't hurt anyway. Thanks so much for helping carry on the fight against this terrible malady. I love you!
