I bought this several years ago at one of my favorite stores....
KIRKLANDS.

almost SALMON PINK in color...

My mom passed away as a result of breast cancer so I know how deeply this horrible disease affects everyone. Always prayers for everyone touched by cancer...always.

My Foodie Friday was a little bit interrupted by a dental emergency yesterday - the woman was on chemo for breast cancer and she only had a small window of time - when her platelets were up - to do her root canal - I would have gone in at midnight if that was necessary. You know the side effects that no one talks about seem to be the most disruptive to their lives. We all need to keep Thinking Pink! ~ Robyn

Jean, looks like we all adore your thermometer. It is still the prettiest one I've seen. Your mom's jewelry box is priceless as well. Isn't it great to have things of our mothers to treasure? Makes us feel closer to them. Thank you so much for keeping everybody reminded about breast cancer. Unless they've been there nobody can truly understand the devastation of that diagnosis. There is a good thing that comes out of that kind of diagnosis, though. It completely turns your priorities around and makes you appreciate what is REALLY important and let the little things slide into where they should be. It truly changes your outlook on life for the rest of the life you're blessed to enjoy. Think maybe that's God balancing the scales. That Will is the funniest guy on Fresh Prince of Bel Air. We've enjoyed that show ever since it started. His innocent expression when he says the goofy things just makes him so believable. Goodlooking too! Loved your post today!

My Mom is a 15 year cancer survivor so I love to think pink! Her life was saved by a mammogram so don't ever let anyone tell you they don't work well.
