YOU ALL know our sweet, APRON QUEEN, KATHY over at KATHY'S COTTAGE..

She once, a long time ago, had a post about remembering our
in some of the gifts that we mail out to each other in BLOGLAND.
I am sending out VALENTINE LOVE packages to some of my
SECRET friends and family this year. Not just HANDING them a gift...
NO SIREEE...they will get them in the mail because, well, we ALL
know how fun it is to get an UNEXPECTED package in the mail.....
There's going to be, OF COURSE....
VALENTINE CANDIES...(maybe even a little CHOCOLATE !!)

AND....a sweet-smelling VALENTINE CANDLE (or two)
and, what would a box of VALENTINE GOODIES be without

AND...of course there will be VALENTINES galore....
and they all have YOU to thank !! tee hee...


SOOO, BlogLadies, think about sending some Valentine Love to YOUR family and/or friends, right there in your real live life....

Oh, yes...I wanted to show off my OLD cookie jar, WEARING WORDS, now...

Our twins, FRAN and FERN, at TWICE AS NICE, have a neat new business and it is all about WORDS ! I ordered a sign but, ALAS, I can not show it to you...the one it is for reads my blog daily and I can't ruin the surprise!

ANYWAY...these sweet ladies included these cute words to go on my cookie jar...which, by the way, needs to be filled up with VALENTINE COOKIES !! * MANY THANKS, LADIES...Be sure to go over to their site and check out the most wonderful signs...and believe me, they do such perfect work, I can't even express it...ya gotta go see for yourself.




I made a pledge to post a RED VALENTINE HUNK every day until after VALENTINES....WOO HOO

BJ, you are so right about remembering our real life friends. I need to be so much better about that. The intentions are always there but don't always get acted on.

Good morning BJ! My house was built by the Beddow family way back in 1862 and I have been blessed to have several family members stop and they all have one shared memory in common to date....and this is where Grandma kept the cookie jar. Bottom left hand door of my built in cupboard. What a sweet memory...Grandma's cookie jar.

Oh my have made my day, BJ!!!!! He makes me more then! I have to tell you, when he went to prison last year for that DUI, I was ready to start a prison ministry in CA...I just new I could make a good man out of him!
