ASHLEY JUDD, movie star....
Some Humanitarian:
Ashley Judd Hates Shooting Wolves, But Favors Partial-Birth Abortions
By Tim Graham - February 8, 2009
So the pulchritudinous actress Ashley Judd is starring in a new advertising campaign by the group Defenders of Wildlife against Gov. Sarah Palin for promoting "the brutal aerial killing of wolves." Palin’s accused of "casting aside science and championing the slaughter of wildlife." Viewers are urged to help stop Palin’s "senseless savagery."
Last year, Judd appeared on a panel of the Clinton Global Initiative and promoted her pro-abortion agenda. She declared to the gang at that "a woman voting for McCain and Palin is like a chicken voting for Colonel Sanders."
According to the humanitarian ethics of Ashley Judd, Sarah Palin shouldn’t allow wolves to be shot from an airplane, but she should allow human babies to have their skulls vacuumed out and killed in a partial-birth abortion. Who here is in favor of "senseless savagery" again?

This actress-playing-a-scientist makes no attempt to engage in any "sense" on the other side. She’s for letting the lovable wolves live. But the wolves are being killed to increase the moose and caribou population. If she was against "senseless savagery," why is she pro-wolf? It’s pretty funny that a group called "Defenders of Wildlife" is completely in favor of wolves slaughtering caribou. They’re defenders of wildlife from humans, but they love all wildlife indiscriminately enough to completely avoid the issues of how animals savagely kill and eat each other.
*Palin knows from personal experience that moose is an important food source for humans in Alaska, but Ashley Judd doesn’t care about the humans in Alaska – unless they’re buying movie tickets.
and I am pretty dang sure I won't be watching MS. JUDD in a movie, EVER AGAIN !
I mean, it seems to me....if we don't support this kind of thing by attending their movies....
if we don't re-elect presidents and other public officials that have been PROVEN
to be dishonest, no MORALS, whatsoever, no regard for others feelings, especially their WIVES and children..
if all the dishonesty that is happening on Wall Street and all the other places we see on the news...

OH, MY....since I hit you this day with such a SERIOUS (but dang important)
subject...I will give you one of these.....

Now, I surely wish THERE WERE MORE LEFT...but, alas, of the 12 that were packed in a red HEART box...I am afraid there's only these left......but...YOU can have one !! *smile

XO bj

"That old Ashley! I thought I liked her, now I think I've changed my mind. She needs to go and drink some buttermilk! I love strawberries! These look so yummy. Be a sweetie, Shelia ;)D

hahaha....don't you just ADORE her !!

GM BJ, I hear ya, sister. And I feel the same as you about abortions. Senseless...
Now, on to the strawberries,I don't think I've ever seen any as big as those. There's a town not to far away from us that is well known for all the fields of strawberries. It's Plant City, every year they have a huge fair at the height of the season. It last about 10 days. Everyday there is a very well known country singer that comes there to perform. It's nice.

Love Ya,

Oh man, I did like her until I saw this. Argh. I didn't know (though most of Hollywood is liberal) -- hmph, I should have known.

Chocolate. YUM!

Good for you, BJ. It is so important for us to speak out and stand up for what we believe.

Thank you for that divine strawberry. It was delicious - and a perfect way to start my day.

Thanks for this BJ! My daughter and son in law learned they were expecting a new baby son, 17 years after Xanti was born. They lost a baby, before Xanti.

In August..Late term...they learned Elijah had a serious almost certainly fatal birth anamoly, called, Posterior Urethral Valves. The prognosis for survival was very slim. Ms Judd, I'm sure would advise abortion. K and S chose to give Elijah a chance for life. He was born in November 2006. Even though he lived only two hours, he made a huge impact on the lives of his family and the professionals involved in his birth. His body was given to Wash. U, in ST Louis. His mommy and daddy, sister, gma's and g'pa's hope this will give other babies, a chance, who are diagnosed with PUV's.

Kim is working on Hugs for Elijah, again this year. Throughout the year, she makes blankets in Elijah's memory and donates them to St Louis Children's Hospital. At Easter last year and again this year, she is ramping up the efforts. Family and friends make blankets, beginning in February. Last year, we were able to give the hospital 150 blankets on Good Friday. Kim has raised the goal limit for this year. They are just little fleece blankets, that are tied. Simple to make but so wonderful for those children, hospitalized.

Well I got off topic there a tad, but I just had to say, Ashley Judd is one of many "talking heads" and no real sense of what they're talking about. My entire view of her has changed over the years.

Sorry for the lengthy reply, but everytime I hear someone is out there promoting abortion at any stage, it makes me think of my grandson, in heaven and living in my heart.

I wish actors and actresses would keep their mouths shut! They are no more pros on these serious subjects than I am. They just have a forum that the rest of us don't have.

On a lighter note, yummy strawberries!

I totally agree with Stacey! There are several Big names that we all know, that over time my views of them have changed drastically. Sadly, someone like Ashley Judd would stand up for these outrageous beliefs!

You go girl! That woman is an idiot!!! That's why we never ever go to movies any more. But, ya know, chickee, they'll learn the truth someday when the Lord comes again. Their faults will be laid before them and they'll be sorry a LOT!! I love babies and cannot imagine anyone killing one.

Southern Lady said...

BJ, when I saw Bill O'Reilly's "Pinhead" feature about Ashley Judd, I vowed never again to see one of her movies.

Like you said, if enough of us voice our opinions by boycotting their movies or books, or whatever ... perhaps it will make a difference.

Great post!

I am so weary of these psuedo-humans in Hollywood thinking they have the exclusive rights to tell the rest of us what is morally right and wrong! Excuse me! You run around exposing yourselves for profit, jumping from one relationship to the next as though people and their hearts are made of styrofoam, fleecing hard-working Americans of their money all in the name of "entertainment", which is SOOOOO debatable! And then, you think you know anything at all about real life or real life issues???? PLEASE???? Sculk back off to your holes and let the real world go on! We're better off without you!

Now, as you can see, I have absolutely NO uses or respect for Hollywood or anything that comes out of it! Ashley Judd is just one more air-headed actress who thinks she has brains all because whe got a new boob job. Go home Ashley, let the real women worry about the important issues you'll never understand!

Wonderful post, BJ!!!!

BJ I am in total agreement with you on this one... She is an idiot and we should boycott her movies... Which is ashame because I really enjoyed her movies... Someone else said that celebrities should mind their own business and I agree... They all think they need a cause but don't always think it out... Human life is the most important think ever and shouldn't be taken so lightly... I am with you girlfriend on all of your thoughts today... Love ya

Loved the Strawberries... YUMO!!!

GM and way to go BJ...I am so with you on this issue..of course its so easy for her to OK abortion as she never had a child..I use to love the Judds singers when they first came out...but I think all of them our idiots now..the mama being the biggest one..she just made me sick when she was a judge on some music show and so mean to these young people trying to she knew it all I wanted to tell her to go live with the Dixie Chicks and get off my TV..This is called too much money and not enough sense..But then what can I say when I live in Ca and we put another actor in as governor..and now the people are upset and want a recall?? hello!! he an actor what did they think..Oh and the wovles up here are what would kill my Ostrich chicks never had a baby killing anything here..WoW!! I talk to much..great post and thanks for letting me stand on my soap box for my 15 minutes..hugs and smiles Gl♥ria

I so agree with you BJ (and Earl, reading over my shoulder asked me to add his Amen to that too!) I don't know what makes these actors think they have a corner on telling us all what is right and wrong but I wish they would shut up and just act. I haven't ever enjoyed her movies anyway so it won't be much to give up! Now about those strawberries...:>)

Yea, I think Hollywood is so backwards. It just makes me sick.

AMEN!!!!!!!!!! to your comments about Ashley Judd. To be so beautiful on the outside she is truly ugly on the inside. You tell Mr. Sweet Nothings that he sure made a good valentine for you! Think he's a "keeper", don't you? Marie had some of those lucious strawberries too and shared one with me. Ooooh, they are to die for!!!! Good post today!
Love you much!

BJ - I totally agree with you about abortions. It seems like almost anything goes in today's world. Years ago when my young teenage daughter became pregnant, the doctor tried to persuade her to have an abortion. I told him that it definitely was not an option. Now when I see her successful life and look at my tall, handsome grandson - I wonder why a doctor, who should save lives, wanted to destroy a life.

Hello dear BJ:-)

I'm finally back to the land of blogging! With Steve here for a few days, I didn't have time to visit any of my blogging friends so blame him! lol Oh dear, this is the first time I read about Ms. Judd's stand on abortion and wildlife's in times like these I wish these celebrities would just stick to acting!! I know everyone is allowed their own opinion but gee whiz, she just doesn't make sense in what she believes in!!

As for those chocolate covered strawberries...oh myyyyyyyy!!!! hehe xoxo

I agree with what you are saying. How can people be so stupid? I was on a soapbox in my post today too. I think you'll agree with me too!
This country is going to hell in a hand basket, excuse the expression!
We all need to be praying.
Hugs, Rhondi

Dear BJ -
Oh, how I agree with you. It doesn't make sense to value a wolf more than a baby. When I heard this a few days ago I was appalled but, then, I never was a fan of hers. Not since I heard her interviewed a couple of years ago with her mother and sister. I wasn't impressed by the way she treated her mom and her sister and most everything that came from her mouth sounded silly to me. Thanks for sharing this today.

I didn't know that about Ashley Judd being pro-abortion. Seems she has her priorities in the wrong place.

Andi said...

I'm glad I read your post BJ because I didn't know this was Ashley Judd's view on life. Guess I won't be buying tickets to her movies anymore because I shouldn't support someone who is against the very things I value.

Thanks for checking in on me. All is well...just very busy.

Hugs, Andi

Good morning BJ, these actors and actresses who think they are important enough to change our country crack me up. They need an EGO adjustment. They are the smallest percentage of people in our country who mean anything. They are a drop in the bucket of humanity and they are so star crazed they don't even know it. We have quite a long list of these people who "think they are important" whose movies we refuse to see. That article is right on and I agree with every word.

Good one BJ!!! I'll have one of those sinful strawberry covered chocolates. Mmmmmm.

Love ya...Jeanne

Hi BJ! I'm glad you came by my blog b/c I came over here yesterday & started reading this post, and had to quit for some reason. I hate she is taking that position b/c I liked her at one time, but she keeps making stupid comment. She needs to really learn when to keep her mouth shut! Shelia is a hoot, isn't she! Have a great day! :O)

YOU...GAVE MY STRAWBERRY AWAY!!!BWWAAAAAAAAAAA

(This is how you do it, isn't it??)

P.S. I don't have red kitten heels..I don't have that dress either..and..well..ok..I DO have the coat! :)

bj...I'm against abortion..for education...against animal cruelty too. Wild or domestic..'nuff said.

These subjects bring up pain and controversy so am reluctant to give comments on them..
I guess I have trouble with being that outspoken. Look what it has gotten Ashley Judd. Can we love her talent and hate her politics? She is a brave soul to lay her neck on the chopping block!
Look at what it got Jane Fonda? She will pay for her big mouth and being outspoken for the rest of her life.
Naw...think I will just stay away from that.
But that's just me... :)
Love ya, Sweetie...

BJ - I just wanted to let you know that, for now, my Willow Tree collection is in a curio cabinet in my living room. I would like to display them on my fireplace mantel but need to come up with an arrangement that is appealing to the eye.

Tootsie said... stupid is that! Have you seen that book Celebutards? I think I would like to read it. It calls out all the celebrities that don't match actions to words!
thanks for the post!

AMEN BJ! I couldn't agree more. Isn't it funny how hypocritical these actors are. a wolf....but kill a human baby. Gee there's a concept!

Hi BJ,

What an article! I'm often baffled by the craziness of Hollywood and the stupidity. I used to love Julian Moore until I saw her marching in a Planned Parenthood Parade. Now I can't even look at her.
I had an abortion when I was very young and it destroyed my life. Not just a piece of it, but MY ENTIRE LIFE! When I walked out the back door of that place there was nothing left. All I could do was cry for the next 7 years.
Only the Lord was able to pick up the pieces. I am living proof that abortion destroys not only one life but two.
Well good morning!

xoxo Cori
