UMMM........

just thought we'd take another look at some of the rooms i just love...

after seeing this beauty, i am all ready to redo my kitchen...
i don't remember just who this belongs to but, boy howdy, she sure knows how to make
a CHARMING kitchen...
i am lovin' that RED ISLAND...
SHEEZE....this is so PERSONALITY PLUS...
WHAT A ROOM... !! I'M IN LOVE !
THIS is one that's been in MY FAVORITES file for several years...
and....I STILL JUST LOVE IT...
I'VE BEEN in love with this one forever, too...
i love that her cup matches everything !! ;O)
MY FAVORITE ROOM OF ALL TIME....!!!!

I think this little bath is just the sweetest thing...
it's long been a favorite of mine...
WHO'S IS IT ?
I've seen so many rooms now that I get confused...(and you thought it was old age!!)
I think it belongs to a friend of mine on RMS
but...I'm not sure.... so i'm not naming names !!! ;O)

this makes me drool all over my keyboard...
anyone ...does this belong to YOU? IF SO...you sure know your decorating stuff !!
I WANT IT.....BAD !

OOO, yeah....I know who THIS one belongs to...;O)
*****************
when i drool over all these pretty rooms, it doesn't mean, for a minute, that i
am not proud of MY rooms, too...
i just love looking at the different ways different people put things together...
AND I AM A HUGH FAN of driving around in the evenings and
PEERING THRU THE WINDOWS TO SEE WHAT THE ROOMS LOOKS LIKE...!!
can you get arrested for that ??

SEE YA, bj
******************************************************
MAY I leave you with a giggle.......

THE KNOB vs Plastic Surgery
A woman visited a Plastic Surgeon who told her about a new procedure called THE KNOB,' where a small knob is placed at the top of the woman's head and could be turned to tighten up her skin and produce the effect of a brand new Face-Lift.
Of course, the woman wanted 'THE KNOB.
Over the course of the years, the woman tightened 'THE KNOB,' and the effects were wonderful, the woman remained young looking and vibrant. After fifteen years, the woman returned to the Surgeon with 2 problems.
"All these years, everything has been working just fine. I've had to turn THE KNOB many times and I've always loved the results.. But, now I've developed 2 annoying problems:'
First, I have these terrible bags under my eyes and THE KNOB won't get ridof them.'"
The doctor looked at her closely and said, '"Those aren't bags, those are your Breasts.'"
She said, 'Well, I guess there's no point in asking about the Goatee.'

  3. Good morning BJ, you are up and going early. Me too. I love all of your dream photos. I pour over magazines for decorating ideas. I like your idea of pouring over past posts. I Want some coffee now!!! I wish I could run right over to your lovely homes and get some. In fact my Bill just got up and asked, "Wheres the coffee?" I better go make it now. I need it bad! Have a happy day my friend.

    Love...Jeanne

That joke was hysterical! The rooms you shared are all so inviting...if you ever win the lottery, you just send a builder these pics and say--make this house!

That second photo has been in my inspiration file for a while as well. I'm dreaming when my boys decide to leave that one of there rooms will be transformed in that style to a guestroom.

Those rooms that you posted are absolutely to die for!
I love the green walls with the red island in the kitchen! What is holding us back from creating these rooms in our homes?
I could live and sleep like a princess in those bedrooms!
I will definately refer back to this post of yours so that I can impliment some of these in my home!
It's a new year...so why not be daring and change your surroundings!

Your home is just as beautiofulo as any of these others, you are one of my biggest sources of decorating inspiration!

  14. You and I share a passion for so many of the same decorating themes. I love window peeping and though I should remember who those rooms belong to, I don't. But I do remember the fact that the first time I saw them they became favorites.

  16. You are sooooooooo bad, chickee!! I've never heard that one before but it's really cute.

You are tooo young looking to be 71, I tell ya.

Okay, here's what I do: answer the door with a dust cloth in hand and say you were just cleaning house and if the vacuum is sitting out it gives you even more credibility.

OR you can just tell them that dusting/cleaning disturbs your feng shui and you'll see their eyes glaze over.......

    Hah......smooches,
    Connie

  20. Enjoyed all the photos. I think the first one is Tina's (Cherry Hill Cottage) sister's kitchen (red island and green walls). I just love Tina and her sister's homes. Their style is so similar I get them mixed up. I also love the black and white bathroom and have started to decorate my guest bathroom in black and white.

The rooms are so pretty, makes me want to redocrate right now. I love the kitchen picture the best.
I had to laugh at the Maxine tip at the start of your blog...that would work for me!!!
You asked can I get arrested for window peeping...there was something on our news last night that they arrested a guy who was window peeping and using his video camera to record the people inside. But he was on their property, right up at the window.
I guess I better make sure when I am window peeping I am not stepping on their property. lol.
