This week, I wanted to share a few more ROMANTIC place settings...
I am using my vintage white with green place setting on one of my solid white PIER ONE plates..atop my silver colored charger. (i know...u can c that for yourself but i needed 'words' here)
I don't have any other chargers but plan to get some GOLD ones at HOBBY LOBBY to use during CHRISTMAS...
gold and red is a really hard combination to beat !!
Have you ever had SLICED PINEAPPLE, with HELLMANN'S REAL MAYO, sprinkled with grated cheese on a bed of lettuce ?I grew up on this tasty, little side salad and we still have it often......
ALL THE TIME... if you will notice, they are in almost every one of my table settings...
I'm going back to TARGET for another set.....right away!! JUST IN CASE !!
The charming little French pot was given to me by STACY, aka BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTER...
The green, vintage goblets that belonged to MOM seem to go great with every single thing I do on my table.
"Thanks for choosing the green, Mom !"

CLEAR PINK PLATES that I bought from WALMART about 10 or 12 years ago.
They are so pretty. I can't even begin to imagine WHY I bought only 6 at the time.
Probably thought, "I'll come back for more later"...
well, guess what.....
I've not seen them since !
OH, SHOOT !!
glad to have the 6, anyway!!
Again...that little green goblet looks so good with PINK.
******************
These vintage, pink rose plates....some of my favorite.
I've bought several pieces in thrift shops and I snap up every piece I find.
Dear Cielo of HOUSE IN THE ROSES
also loves this pattern and has a magnificent collection!
Once again, see how versatile the SOLID WHITE plates are?
They were a great investment and I use them ALL the time in so many different settings.
************
Now, sit down, put your feet up and have something
SWEET
TO EAT ~~

Many blessings and much love, bj
and many prayers for DEENA

So gorgeous!
I love that green goblet... :)
(Some fun news at Anita's Real Life if you've got a minute...)
I so admire people who go to the trouble of setting a beautiful place setting!. One of these days, I'm going to stop buying fabric and start buying dishes! HA!
Have a Blessed Day......Rosie
Very nice..I don't think I have seen so many awards on any other blog. That;s really nice.
I like your use of the white plates and decorate with color around them. I think bright and heavy patterns on plates make a pretty scene - but when it comes to eating off them I draw the line...give me a variation of white plate any time....I know I am wierd.
Have a great week and be thankful for all the blessings from God.
Beautiful. I remember eating the pineapple/Hellman's combo when I was a kid.
I think I need some white plates!
Hi Sweet BJ,
Your settings are gorgeous! and very inspiring,i especially love the little bird shakers, they are too cute.
Please pop over to our home for a minute when you have time.

Heh-heh-heh (evil laugh)...only 12 more days and you'll be gone and I can come STEAL those pink plates and green goblets! I don't remember ever seeing any pink dishes before except Melmac maybe..and of course depression glass.
Have a wonderful day! ;-) Bo
Love the combination of white and pink and the goblets are divine! Yes, I would like a sweet! thank you!
Your dishes are so gorgeous! Where do you keep all of them? I think you could set a different table every day for a week!
Good morning, sweet friend.
I have white dishes, too, and they are so versatile. I picked them out 38 years ago when we got married, and everyone thought I was nuts, but I have never regretted it.
Your table settings looks so pretty and feminine today. I love your mother's green goblet.
I gotta say it....I tried to bite my tongue...but dang woman.....YOU NEED A DISH INTERVENTION!!! Where do you store all these lovlies? I guess one of these days I'm gonna have to do one of my table scapes and show you all how real people set a table lol.
BJ, I am concerned. What is going on with Sheila? I've noticed her picture on everyone's blog. Is she sick?
The splash of color from the goblets sets off the white so nicely.
Well is Tuesday, and as always your tablescape are gorgeous.
You have a talent to put things together beautifully.
You create the must pretty tablescape, and I love when you use thing that belonged to your mom, because is from her that you
probably became the beautiful person you seem to be.
Blessings, Virginia
Oh BJ, I'm feeling the need to decorate my table now! I haven't had the time to play with my dishes lately but I do have some wonderful transferware that needs to be out showing off :)

I think you posted about those sweet bird salt and pepper shakers before... 'cause I went and bought 2 sets right away and have enjoyed them since. Love you table settings...I'm tempted to try my own.. I bought plain white dishes right after my wedding but never did anything cute with them and now they are all broken and gone. :(
I agree with you...white dishes and clear dishes...you can do so much with them. Your settings are so pretty...and yes, go buy yourself some more chargers!!
They all are so lovely! You are so incredibly talented and your loved ones must dine in beauty! I might find a Target, the birds are darling.

Your tablescapes are a;ways a delight to see. So beautiful, elegant, yet warm and inviting. You do have a knack dear BJ!
Hi BJ,
Loved seeing your pretty table settings
My Mom used to make that same salad except she used pears instead of pineapple. (and we call it Best Foods mayo here :)
hugs))
We got to see some more of your beautiful dishes. Growing up we always had canned pear halves on lettuce with mayo and grated cheese. Thanks for reminding me - something different to fix with supper!!! Thanks for participating in Tablescape Tuesday; I always enjoy your posts. Sally

I especially like the pink roses china.......

BJ, your tablescapes are always so sweet. I do love your mom's green goblets. Green is my favorite color, so need I say more? The only color charger I have is gold. I do love them at Christmas. The way you mix and match is so charming. I have never done that. I'm learning from you. smile. Have a great day.
Hugs...Jeanne

Very pretty table settings, PJ, but then you always have such beautiful things in your home.
I remember the pineapple and cheese salads. I love that combination.
Hi BJ...You just can't beat white!
What very pretty place settings you have with just a few changes!! Looks totally different. I love the pink clear WM plates with the little pink floral vintage plates atop them best! I, too, have some green goblets that seem to get used soooo much!!

BJ, So many pretty finds. I have those white bird S&P shakers, too. The pink walmart china - precious!, I've got the plain white china too and it is so versatile. , I'll have to dig them out for a future post., but it won't be as pretty as this! ~ Robyn
HI BJ,
Beautiful dishes! It's such a shame to put food on them and cover them up...don't you agree?
How are things in your corner of the world? It's 6:45 in the evening and 91 degrees. Autumn! What really does that mean?!
Have a blessed evening!
XO Cori

Love your place settings, BJ! I recently bought green Anchor Hocking goblets from ebay. They, too, look so great on my table. You better hurry to Target for those S&P shakers...I think I got the last set....
Who would have thought that pictures of china could be so beautiful? Oh, mix me a little cottage cheese in the Hellmans Mayo please...a little extra grating of cheese...love it!
hugs
Sandi
Lovin' the pink dishes! I'm looking forward to following all your pink posts this month!
I love your table settings. And the green goblets are wonderful. Isn't it fun to use special things from our mom?
Hugs.
The pineapple sounds good. I've only had it with pears. And always with a sweet red cherry on top. The red would match beautifully with your lovely table setting.
Hi BJ...sorry taken me a bit to get by here. I love ALL your beautiful table settings...girl, you do have some beautiful china. And those green goblets do go so well with all of them! Your Mom knew what she was doing when she bought those! Thanks for sharing all this wonderful eye candy! Susan
