ROMANCE.........

HERE WE ARE....ANOTHER TABLESCAPE TUESDAY

Many thanks to Susan for hosting this fabulous affair. There will be so many pretty tables to view and get some great ideas for your own table...so be sure to stop by each one.
Don't forget to say thanks to SUSAN in a comment on HER beautiful table.
****************************************
This week, I wanted to share a few more ROMANTIC place settings...

I am using my vintage white with green place setting on one of my solid white PIER ONE plates..atop my silver colored charger. (i know...u can c that for yourself but i needed 'words' here)
I don't have any other chargers but plan to get some GOLD ones at HOBBY LOBBY to use during CHRISTMAS...
gold and red is a really hard combination to beat !!
Have you ever had SLICED PINEAPPLE, with HELLMANN'S REAL MAYO, sprinkled with grated cheese on a bed of lettuce ?
I grew up on this tasty, little side salad and we still have it often......

I use those little white BIRD salt and peppers
ALL THE TIME... if you will notice, they are in almost every one of my table settings...
I'm going back to TARGET for another set.....right away!! JUST IN CASE !!
The charming little French pot was given to me by STACY, aka BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTER...

The green, vintage goblets that belonged to MOM seem to go great with every single thing I do on my table.
"Thanks for choosing the green, Mom !"
*********************
This vintage little plate looks soooo good sitting on my
CLEAR PINK PLATES that I bought from WALMART about 10 or 12 years ago.
They are so pretty. I can't even begin to imagine WHY I bought only 6 at the time.
Probably thought, "I'll come back for more later"...
well, guess what.....
I've not seen them since !
OH, SHOOT !!
glad to have the 6, anyway!!

Again...that little green goblet looks so good with PINK.

******************

These vintage, pink rose plates....some of my favorite.
I've bought several pieces in thrift shops and I snap up every piece I find.
Dear Cielo of HOUSE IN THE ROSES
also loves this pattern and has a magnificent collection!

Once again, see how versatile the SOLID WHITE plates are?
They were a great investment and I use them ALL the time in so many different settings.
************

Now, sit down, put your feet up and have something

SWEET
TO EAT ~~

Many blessings and much love, bj
and many prayers for DEENA

  4. I like your use of the white plates and decorate with color around them. I think bright and heavy patterns on plates make a pretty scene - but when it comes to eating off them I draw the line...give me a variation of white plate any time....I know I am wierd.

Have a great week and be thankful for all the blessings from God.

I have white dishes, too, and they are so versatile. I picked them out 38 years ago when we got married, and everyone thought I was nuts, but I have never regretted it.

Your table settings looks so pretty and feminine today. I love your mother's green goblet.
