Tables were set up inside the most beautiful

I don't have a clue what kind of flower this is but....
it is really pretty.

A beautiful
GOLD FISH POND

With HUGH gold fish
(I was about half scared of 'em)
Beautiful Lilly Pads with lovely white blossoms

HAMBURGERS AND HOT DOGS
AND
ALL THE TRIMMINGS.
'TWAS SOOOO
DELICIOUS

OH...and watermelon

AND,
all kinds of berries, grapes, oranges

THE DELICIOUS CHOCOLATE
GROOM'S CAKE

The
WEDDING CAKE,
in all it's glory....

NOW....
everyone, especially all the kids,
was ready for
THE POOL PARTY..
but, wait, it is beginning to get a little
DARK
outside....

OH, MY...
these dark clouds started rolling in and developing
FAST !!

NOPE....

*******************************
We sure were glad we had a place inside to gather, eat, visit and
JUST HAVE FUN !!
**************************************
A note to say that no one cared that they couldn't swim...
We are all to THANKFUL for every drop of rain we get out here in WEST TEXAS !
Remember to leave your comment on my

Good morning, sweet lady. That does look like a wonderful party.

The plant is a bromeliad. We had them on our patio in Florida. I agree that they are beautiful.

Wonderful pictures of the flowers - but you know how much I love flowers.

Yes, the rain moved you in doors - but at this time of the year we will take rain anytime.

Have a glorious week.

Morning, BJ! What a lovely spread! I'm sure you had a good time. It was a wedding reception? Everything is just beautiful! Wish we had some of that rain!
Be a sweetie,

Morning BJ! Love your new header.

What a cool property. I loved that pond! Too bad about the storm but I think it's so fun visiting with friends while listening to it rain. Seems so cozy.

Well darn that weather! How dare it interupt what looked like a fabulous party. I'll take some of that chocolate cake and a scoop of that fruit! Hey woman what happened to the red??? I must say I like the soft creamy color at this time of the morning...the red probably would have woken me up and I'm not ready yet. Have a wonderfully sparkly day!

Hi BJ, I am so behind in my visiting. We have been gone for five days, and to make matters worse, we were gone for pink Saturday. I managed a few visits but we know that doesn't work on that day of all days.

The party looks so festive, with beautiful flowers to boot. And a goldfish pond. Lovely. I was drooling over all the food and then I saw that gorgeous mound of fruit. Wow, I want to make that. This Sat. I am having a wedding shower for my great niece. She is getting married at the Biltmore in October. Another wedding, thank the Lord I am not the wedding planner this time. Smile.

I wanted to tell you what that flower was, but I see Beverly already did. You have to have warm weather for those to grow.

Are you really feeling like yourself again? I hope so.

Love and hugs, Jeanne

How did that happen. I must have been a little heavy on the keys. You can go in to typepad and delete one.

Thank you for sharing your picnic! I have never been to a cook out (here in America) here where i live, but i have been to one at my aunt's in California and we cooked out a lot back in the Philippines.

Sorry about that rain! Blessings for sure, for the bride and groom.
