I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

please remember to pray for THE NIELSON FAMILY !!
and
SMILING SALLY

TERRIBLE STORM on the coast!

It seems these days, we have so very much to pray about.
My prayer list gets longer with each passing day as I know your's does, as well.
I think we must remember during all these trying times that our

Prayers are needed here for sure. BJ, you are a girl who often makes me smile with your sense of humor. The other side of you is a caring and loving person who is concerned with mankind and sends prayers out to anyone and everyone who can use your praises. And all the while, you can use some prayers too. I admire you very much dear BJ. With this, I thank you for your uplifting words and visits. I am truly improving and each day will get better. Life is good when you compare yourself to others. smile.
Have a blessed time with your family.

Love, Jeanne

I'm praying that Gustav dies a horrible quick death before he can reach them. God bless all those in the path!

Oh yes we've been praying! My husband has employees in New Orleans and Baton Rouge and he's been checking on them all day. Thankfully they've all evacuated or are on the road! It's just the beginning of hurricane season!

It's so sad about the Nielsons. It's so good of you to post their story. I pray that God will sustain them and their families through through the trials to come.

Thank you for reminding us to pray for the Nielsons. I have read through the blogs and they sound like remarkable people. So many prayers are going out for them via the blogging world. Isn't it amazing!

I friend of mine was evacuating her home near Beaumont, Texas, as of 6 a.m. today. Her husband is staying behind as he works for the oil companies down there. When Rita hit, it caused extensive damage to her home. I pray that the levees hold, that homes stand, and that there are no further lives lost with this storm!

No matter how many people I pray for, my blessing seem to double. I will pray for all those facing Gustav at this time and the Neilson family as well.

God bless.

Hi BJ,

I hope you are feeling better. I agree with everything you have said here. Hopefully, the folks in the states who are getting the storm are more prepared this time. My husband's sister and nephew live in New Orleans, but they just happened to be visiting here. So they are staying until the storm blows over.
