A TABLE FOR 2, PLEASE

We already had the sewing machine base

and left over tile

AND
I'M LOVIN' THIS !

and
I didn't even ASK for this project....

He thought of it on his own and
I AM HAPPY

It's in our living room (we had the glass topped table there) and can be pulled in front of the fireplace with a 4th chair added and will be perfect for eating with family and friends or to play cards on or to have a midnight snack
....

IN THE MEANTIME,
it is perfect spot for Bill and I to eat and watch tv if we like..(and we do love to do that !)

I have such a sweet and talented husband and I am so blessed

HUGS, bj

oooo, i have some red chairs that will be great with this little table...you've seen them before)
they are in the shop as we speak, being taken apart and re-glued...
maybe some LEMON YELLOW cushions??

When is the party!!!!
It's fabulous.

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for your note. Mom is doing better. She is off of the oxygen, but still on IV antibiotics. I don't know how long she'll be in the hospital, but they are taking good care of her. We've got a 24hour sitter so life is a bit more normal now and I'm back to work.

You are a sweetheart. Thanks so much.

Hugs,

I LOVE THAT KITCHEN!

Great table! When I saw your little "hint" a few days ago, I thought, "a table" but had no idea it would be THAT cute! You're right -- he's a sweet and talented guy, your dh!

That is an awesome table!! Clever and cute to boot! What a fab idea for an old sewing base. Now I'll have to think of a way to take my great-grandmother's old sewing machine away from my brother - ha, like that'll happen! Guess I'll have to watch for a base somewhere.

I love this table, BJ. I have a treadle base just like that and have been collecting broken china to mosaic a table top. The tiled top is just gorgeous.

Jean, you just have the most wonderful ideas and the most talented hubby. I knew you had to be making the table bigger, but I didn't think about you having leftover tile to put the top on it. That is just gorgeous! Can't wait to see it! Maybe we can watch a movie and have snacks on that table one of these days. I'm just amazed at your talent. I love it! Martha
