I JUST LOVE LITTLE GIRLS ROOMS

As some of you might know, I just spent 6 days with grandchildren while the parents were on a business trip......I just got home on Monday...

We did have such a good time !!!
We made several pans of THESE while I was there..... ;O)

The girls room is so cute....
LIME GREEN walls
and
lots of HOT PINK to go with it.

Great posters on the ceilings, too

Their bath is PINK
with lots of
LIME GREEN

AND PLENTY OF CUTENESS

This cute little stuffed doll is really a
HAIR BOW HOLDER

The cute shower curtain....
LEOPARD with
HOT PINK Rick Rack

They are true FEMALES....
THEY DO LOVE JEWELRY

We made these cute letters while I was there....
I had never done anything like this and was just as pleased as they were when they turned out so cute !!

P E A C E
Of course, they had to have a
BLUEBIRD OF HAPPINESS painting
***************************
I hope YOUR day is full of HAPPINESS, too!
Hugs, bj
P.S. Don't forget to send me a picture or 2 of a pretty kitchen for my
OPEN HOUSE OF KITCHENS
to be posted on next Monday's posting

BJ ...

I have a just-turned-three-year-old granddaughter (Avery Grace), so I love your stories about your granddaughters. I'm going to be keeping her for a week in June and have got to come up with some "projects" to keep her busy.

I love the letters you did for your granddaughters and the bluebird painting. Did you paint the bluebird yourself? It's so sweet.

Hope your day is a good one ...

Sincerely,

Janie

Girls are so fun. They are like little miniatures of us, and they love all the fun things we like, too.

How fun!

My only girl was SUCH a tomboy... Still is! Never had much girly stuff - darn it! :) There was about 2 months in her life where she "kinda-sorta-almost" liked girly stuff, and then it was gone... lol

BJ . . . just had to meet you. We have the same initials. I'm Betty Jo, and I'll bet you're Betty Jean.

What a fun post and the photos are awesome. I have two granddaughters, Ashlee Jo (named after her Gran) 4 years old and Emily Ryan soon-to-be eight years old. I so love girly things and both of them do as well.

You have a beautiful blog and I'm off to explore more of it.

xoxo

Hello BJ, We just arrived home Mon. night from a visit to grandchildren too. No time for crafts ,but guess what, I took a photo of our daughter's kitchen because I just love it. I helped her decorate, paper, paint, hang everything and make her window seat cushion. Who knew!

Love your little girl room photos. Mmmmm, love those grandchildren!

Hi BJ,

Oh I bet you had a ball with those grandchildren! I love the pretty pink and green bedroom. My daughter had one of those dollies for her bows too. I loved it. She is 17 now ,just had her junior prom. I miss those younger days. Now I am blessed with 2 grandchildren. Boys, ages 13 and 4. On Mother's Day we played with playdoh. We had fun!

Hi,

Just wanted to stop by and say thanks for stopping by and welcoming me to the blogosphere. I came by to check out your site. I love that girls room. I have 2 boys...so only trucks and cars and weird critters lining the walls of my home in their rooms. So I love looking at the girly things....

I bet you had so much fun! But then again I bet you are tired too. Little ones can wear you out. But it's a good tired.

Those letters did come out great.
