Time for a great lunch and some SERIOUS shopping withBEST FRIENDS
These beautiful, blooming INDIAN HAWTHORNS were all around the front of the CAFE....
So pretty......
We wanted to eat out in the pretty courtyard but a cool front has moved in for a few days....
It was just a tad too chilly so we settled for INSIDE dining......
I had never been to CHEDDARS before and was surprised how cool it was....
A fabulous aquarium.....HUGH
All kinds of pretty fish.....
AND THEN......
A hugh pile of CHICKEN SALAD beneath these ....well, I'm not really sure just WHAT kind of thin chips these were....but VERY tasty....
Delicious Monta Cristo Sandwiches....cole slaw...dip.....
THEN to the SHOPPING .....
Such cute things...I am in love with these wooden letter blocks....I bought some...
This bright yellow drink dispenser was so cute....
This little prim doll was so ugly, she was CUTE .....
Such pretty displays...
and that's me in the polka dots...

All these little paddles hanging from a brass rod that turned and the paddles went back and forth, fanning you for all their worth......

They brought out the food......
Potato Skins with cheese and bacon.....
Cheese Sticks.......
Cheese Sticks.......
Nachos.......

Oh, what a sweet group and fun outing....that lunch looked great! :) When I meet with certain friends, a 3 hour lunch is about par for the course!! I bet you guys are the same too!
What a wonderful time you must have had. The restaurant looks great and that food...oh my. I need to go eat my breakfast now because it made me hungry just to look at it!
Isn't it wonderful to have such a lovely group of friends nearby and be able to enjoy a day out like that:-) Sounds and looks like you all had a fabulous time...love that very unusual fan system in the restaurant and look at that food! YUM! I haven't had Monte Cristo sandwiches in forever but now you have me hungry for them!! I would have enjoyed that antique shop as well...you know me, there are no antique shops I don't like! lol xoxo

bj, I wanted to tell you that I found the neatest little antique & junk shop today in B'field. You and your friends should take a day trip over and take a look. Lots of vintage linens, dishes, and furniture. Found a great china cabinet I'm sure thinking about tonight!
