DAY ONE of the H.O.T. KITCHEN OPEN HOUSE

WELCOME
DUE TO A FABULOUS RESPONSE
WE ARE GOING TO HAVE ABOUT A WHOLE WEEK
TO LOOK AT THE MOST FABULOUS KITCHENS
YOU'VE EVER SEEN

THANK YOU ALL FOR DOING THIS FUN THING
In order to keep you from getting bored, I will TRY to keep each day's posting
to about 10 to 12 photos....
I feel like this is enough to look at in one day

*********************

CHRISTY of RATE MY SPACE sent us the following 4 kitchens as some of her favorites.....
I see she loves color as much as I do....even in the kitchen !

Thanks for sharing these wonderful, colorful kitchens, CHRISTY
*************

ANITA at PRAIRIE DREAMS shares the following 3 kitchens as possibles in her new home, about to be built....
"I've attached three photos... "cottage Kitchen" and the one marked "pinkrosechateau" are some of my favorites,(I'm not sure about a quilt in the kitchen, though!) and the one marked "#1kitchen" is there because I love the open shelves... I'm thinking of having open shelves in my new kitchen, instead of upper cabinets - if that builder will let me! ", ANITA

Such a charmer

Thanks so much for sharing your dreams, ANITA
*************************

The following 4 pictures belong to MICHELE at COWBOYS AND CUSTARD and they are of her real, live kitchen....
Just take a look at those BLUE AND WHITE TILE
Don't you LOVE that amazing stove !!!
.

MICHELE says
"It is the hub of the home and I live in it...literally. I work, play, cook ... you name it.. the kitchen IS my home!
Here are some photos you may or may not want to use. I am just sending the before pic for you to see what we did to our kitchen after inheriting a wreck of a house.
I hope it shows some improvements !? "
OMGosh, MICHELE.....
IMPROVEMENT is hardly the word....
This is like something right out of a FAIRY TALE and
I know I can speak for others in saying
WE JUST LOVE IT

So many thanks to you for sharing this sweet room with us.
***********************
THIS is ONE
of MY dream kitchens
BUT
it actually belongs to

Just chock full of color, personality, charm, fabulousness
and her sweet daughter, MIKA, made those cute letters
for her mom

Thank you, Tina, for letting me use a picture of ONE of MY dream kitchens
****************************
PLEASE TUNE IN TOMORROW FOR

DAY TWO
same time....
same channel

MAY I WISH YOU ALL A VERY
WONDERFUL
MEMORIAL DAY

GOD BLESS US ONE AND ALL

Day One of the Kitchen Open House is fabulous. I adore kitchens; they are always a source of inspiration.

Thanks BJ. I'll be back bright and early tomorrow for Day Two.

I guess you don't have to worry about rooster feathers during a kitchen open house. ;-)

This is so much fun!!! Although all of these kitchens are really beautiful, I am just a teensy bit jealous of Michelle's gorgeous kitchen! It is everything that I love, and it's blue and white! I love those colors in a kitchen and my kitchen in my last house was blue and white. *sigh* I love my current home, but sure did love my old kitchen!

Hey, Jean, you're doing great on showing kitchens. They are all very interesting and I enjoyed seeing them. I can really picture you in that last one. It looks just like you! Can't wait to see what you show us tomorrow. Martha

Love them all! I am especially a fan of rooms with yellow and blue! And I see Tina of Cherry Hill Cottage is in there too.

I came over from Pea's and wanted to say how neat to see all the lovely kitchen ideas. Glad to see lots of white. I have a 'cream' and blue kitchen that we had remodeled (Home Depot) two years ago. I really love it. Here's my Flickr set about it.

I need to add some newer photos too, but it's messed up from grocery shopping right now.

Hello, B.J. I LOVE your kitchen photo open house. I will be stopping by all week. I don't know if you've heard that Mom of a Germanshorthair has turned on her light? Her space was rudely attacked, and I am just spitting mad. I am going to post some of her pictures all week as "cameos" with the regular tour to show my support of this great lady, who is an RMS icon. I hope you, too, will join me in this "Mom Moment." And please spread the word. Blessings to you, gollum

We rent and I have my home's kitchen fixed as stylishly as I can, but it sure doesn't come close to any of these. We were almost able to rent a very sweet historic Spanish stucco that had brand new cherry wood cabinetry and marble counter tops. Ah, that would have been bliss. But, I make do with what I have. It's all currently in pinks and berries.

This is a really fun idea! Thanks for sharing. I'll be back.

BJ,
Thank-you so much for doing this. I love looking at people's favorite kitchens. Tina's is about one of my favorite kitchen's also. Did you buy the magazine she was in Country Almanac? I will be looking forward to the rest of the tour.
Thank-you again,
ginger

BJ,

I didn't get a chance to get over yesterday, as we got some sad news about my Aunt May. I have posted about it.

These kitchens really cheered me up. I LOVE Michele's kitchen. That stove is beautiful. These stoves are available here and I have considered getting one when I remodel my kitchen.

All the photos of beautiful. Thanks so much for coming up with this idea. I love it.

Blessings,
Mary
