SPLISH SPLASH......

Aren't these puppies soooo cute ? Especially when they are WET !!
oooooo, and these aren't MY puppies....just a cute photo off the net.

THIS is what my lowly, old and average BATH TUB looks like.....

...and such HO-HUM, YAWN, UGLY, OLD, .....AN OLD BUILDER GRADE faucet ..................

Faucets and knobs are the JEWELRY for bath tubs !! Don't they know ANYTHING?

PITIFUL.......

THIS is what a C.O.O.L. tub looks like...................

................and this.....................

.................and, PLEASE note the faublous FAUCET SET ! See? .....JEWELRY !

UMMMMM, wouldn't you love to soak in this beauty............ (does it look a little SHORT, or is it just me??)

HERE'S the black and white I love.......................

MY favorite.....a SLIPPER TUB..............

I saw a movie once....and MR. HARRISON FORD was sitting in a slipper tub and I've been in LUV with slipper tubs ever since !!!!!! ;o) (gulp and blushing here)

OR, WAIT A MINUTE....I love this ROUND one, too............. actually, it may be oblong..

BUT, if I had to choose my VERY FAVORITE....this is the bathroom and tub I would choose.... tis my dream bath *sigh
....bubbles

....candles

....music

....chocolate

....wine

OH...and did I remind you that THIS ONE is Beautiful Daughter's ?

I can remember this tub, found on the acreage they purchased, being used to water the horses ......AMAZING !!

MUSIC AND CANDLES to you today

I do believe I would appreciate any tub occupied by Harrison Ford. Yep! He is a good one.

I hope you had a good weekend, and that you have a wonderful Monday.

Your daughter has a beautiful bathroom, Your bathroom is very pretty also. I have always wanted one of those iron shelfs that go from one end to the other to put your soaps on or candles or a glass of wine or book while you are soaking.
Have a blessed day,

I love your daughter's bathroom, too! So fancy!

FEMA trailers have those bathtubs with the straight backs, so you can't lean back, and they are very shallow... *sigh* I can't wait to get our house, and a great tub! (we're planning on using an old clawfoot tub)

Have a great day!

BJ, I loved your story this morning. It's all about the effects we set up for ourselves when taking a relaxing bath. It doesn't have to be a fancy bathroom. Candles, wine, music & a good book and I'm happy. I loved the music you played with your story. Hugs, Terrie

Good morning, BJ - I loved the pictures of the puppies in the tub. Do they shake and shimmy and get water everywhere when they get out? I have tub faucets like yours. I think you've done a nice job making your tub look inviting. Your daughter's bathroom is gorgeous. Will we ever get to see more of her house?

Hi dear BJ.. isn't it funny to think that we are oceans apart but both sitting at our computers communicating across the miles. It never ceases to amaze me!
I have had such a giggle at those bedraggled pooches.. Please don't tell them I said that!
I am very lucky to own a free standing bath like the one in your photos.. but I have to tell you that the contemporary ones.. like your own.. are much more comfortable for having a long soak!
Looks aren't everything!

Thanks for dropping by.. and forgiving me!

with love

Hi sweet BJ,
I think such a tub has something totally Parisian, don't you think?! The photos are fabulous.
Thanks for your sweet comment about my Easter eggs, next year I will try even harder since this year they didn’t turned out the way they usually do, and than I will show you all my handmade decor.
Have a great week. Suzy

Well that last one is dreamy! And it's really your daughters? How amazing. Oh, and our dogs are little like those puppies and they are just as ugly when they're wet =) Blessings... Polly

Was it the tub you fell in love with or was it Harrison Ford, tee hee!!! My Mom and Dad had an old footed tub in their home at one time, and I hated that thing.

I just love that slipper tub. A girl could soak in it for hours.

God bless.

Hi BJ!
I do just love those old slipper tubs! Since I'm kind of tall (5'10") I always think they look so nice and deep!

Hi BJ , when I saw the pic of the pups it made me think of something funny my uncle said one time .He was griping because his wife hadn't done the laundry. He had taken a bath & when he was ready to get out of the tub, there were no towels to dry with . He said " I had to shake off like a dog-g-g."
My husband & I laughed and laughed about that. Everyone have a good day.

Oh my goodness!! Your daughter has the most gorgeous bathroom!!
Mine is not very unique or special I am afraid. : ( I have never seen Harrison Ford around my bath at all and believe me, I have LOOKED!

*grin*

Have a sweet week!
