REMEMBER HER ?

The sweet little MOURNING DOVE that built her nest in my hubby's welding rig?

EDITED to change MORNING to MOURNING.
Thank you, sweet DEENA

Then, she flew away for whatever reason, leaving this beautiful, LARGE egg....

You will have to click on the picture to enlarge to see the little BABY MORNING DOVE....

The mother flew off again and I quickly snapped this picture thru the window...I was afraid to come to close to the nest for fear the mom might not come back....

She DID and she is still keeping her baby warm and close.

I am wondering if you saw this movie and....if so.....
what did you think about it??

BLESSED and HAPPY SATURDAY.....

Thanks for sharing that sweet baby! I saw the Bucket List, and although it wasn't funny, I really enjoyed it. I loved seeing them figure out what was really important before it was too late. Christy:-)<><

I love Spring! It's so much fun to see the baby birds.

I saw The Bucket List. I love Morgan Freeman. He seems like the nicest, wisest man. The movie made me want to make a list of things to do and adventures to have.

Darn it BJ.....I missed coffee with you this morning.....migraine hit at 5am....didn't even get up til 10:30! Guess I'll have to go make my own pot :-)

You gals are so lucky with the baby birds. You would think with all our woods and porchs we would snag a nest or two....but no such luck :-(

The little dove is so pretty.....cooing doves is on of my favorite things!

Hoping your weekend has lots of "cooing"! :-) Rosie

Happy Saturday dear BJ. the little dove is so sweet. When I put my hanging baskets on my front porch, the birds come within a few days to make their nests in there. I remember one yr we had a bad thunderstorm and the baskets were swinging in the wind. I was upset for the little babies, and almost brought them in!

Hubby and I saw the bucket list. I love Morgan Freeman. It was definately an eye opener. I recommend seeing it if you haven't.

I didn't see that movie, but anything with Morgan Freeman in it is usually very good.

What a sweet little bird and I do mean "little". I had to look hard to even see it.

Have a good weekend, BJ

I saw The Bucket List and loved it. I have worked as a hospice nurse and so it spoke to me on many different levels. It is a wonderful movie and I would recommend it, I thought it was funny and wise.

We have a dove nest in the hanging pot on our porch. I haven't seen any eggs yet. Cute little baby
in yours. I haven't seen the movie but want to soon.

Hi BJ
That is a precious little baby mourning dove. Weren't you fortunate to get a photo of it?
We saw the movie and thought it was great! The whole theater laughed out loud when Morgan Freeman was telling Jack how the coffee was made. Neither of us are Jack Nicholson fans but I'd definitely recommend it. Haven't started working on my bucket list yet!
Enjoy your weekend

What a darling little bird and a sweet post! I haven't seen that movie, but my mum went to see it with a group of her friends and they all said it was really good and worth seeing. I'll have to get over my dislike of ol Jacky boy if I am to see it though! lol Hope you're having a wonderful weekend sweetie!

Hi BJ, I saw the movie Bucket List, and I was deeply touched by the friendship that developed between the two, and also that it was not made to be a terribly sad journey that they shared together. I give it a ten. The little bird is so amazing I have nest all around my house, not as visable though.

Oh My! My husband just built a dove bird house last week because we have several doves that come to eat. So far it is still vacant. Keep us updated.

Hi BJ!
Love the doves. They are one of my favorite birds but they make nests in very odd places and sometimes the nests are not well constructed. We had a dove that made a nest under our pine tree, laid her egg, then never came back. I was so sad.
I saw the Bucket List and liked it. Very sad at the end but very humorous through the movie. I like the actors!
