CLEAN CLOSET and LITTLE, OLD LADY JOKE

They have just discovered little lizards that carry a long stick with them....when the sand gets so hot on their little feet while running thru it, they jab the long stick into the sand, run up it to relieve their burning feet and then, hurry on their way.........

HAPPY APRIL FOOL'S DAY ...................... tee hee.......

*******************************************************
*********************************************

I took a whole afternoon this week and worked on getting our major closet all cleaned, straightened and smelling good.................

I try hard to KEEP my closet nice but, after awhile, it can get in a pretty sorry state......

SHOES all lined up nice and straight.....before.....on top of each other, mostly!!

I moved all the winter clothing to the "other" closet...

Then, come winter time again, I will clean "it" out and move summer clothes back to "it"......

COWBOY boots, English Riding boots, dress boots......What can I say except WE LIKE BOOTS...

Sandels and flip flops are my MAIN footwear in the summertime, with a tennis shoe or two thrown in every now and then.......

I hope I can keep this closet all straight throughout the entire summer. It makes for finding what to wear soooo much easier. I am just not all that great, I guess, at organization. When I DO get to these things that need doing so badly, I am so proud of myself !

NOW.................I have another closet I call my DECORATING closet.....you know....where every thing goes that you are not using at this time but sure don't wanna get rid of.....just in case ?

It HAS to be cleaned and thinned out before long....I am running out of room to put SOMETHING ELSE !
******************************************

Sweet Nan at ON MY PORCH, posted a "little old lady" joke the other day that reminded me of one that I want to tell you.....................

The little old lady went to the DENTIST and was very nervous about him hurting her.
When she sit down in the dental chair, she casually reached over, took the doctor's "family jewels" in her hand and quietly said, in a SWEET voice...........
"NOW, SONNY....WE AREN'T GONNA HURT EACH OTHER,......ARE WE??"
*********************************
Yes, you have to keep an eye on those old ladies!!

Have a fun day, if at ALL possible !!

Good Morning BJ,
You did a great job on organizing your closet. You do have a large closet and I wish I had one that large. I see yall have alot of boots. I only have one pair, but I sure do wish I had several other pairs. I do love them too, but just can't afford them. I loved the little old lady joke. LOL. That was just too funny. I remember seeing that one joke over at Nan's a while back. I have no idea where she finds all of them jokes. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

If there is one place in my home that is almost always in perfect order...it is my closet. Drives me nuts if I cannot find something I want to wear in the morning!

I love your "old lady" joke too!

The closet looks great. I have been doing some cleaning my self. Not as much time as I would like with work, but some is better than none.

Oh BJ! I'm so envious that your closet is cleaned out and organized. I've been trying for at least two weeks to get to mine. You are so right...finding something to wear is so much easier when clothes and shoes are in their place.

I don't think Rick, Isaiah, and I could all three fill that closet.. lol But you did a wonderful job with it... I have to admit, I'm such a neat freak the sight of a well organized closet makes me happy! :D
Love the joke... I've sent you another one I think you'll love!

Hello Sweet BJ,
Oh how I miss you! (GRINS) Life's gotten pretty busy, good (but busy) so please forgive my absence. I love learning all of the wonderful things about you! I've spent an hour catching up on your blog, and re-discovered something that I pretty much already knew...You are wonderfully fabulous and a great inspiration! All I have to say is, thank the Lord for wonderful people like you! You tend to put a different spin on things, and have given me different perspectives on life over the last year. You help me to stop in all of my life's craziness and to appreciate "the small things" more...thank you for reminding me how precious life is and can be. Not that I really believe in "luck" (just blessings Ü ) but I heard that if you hang a horseshoe upside down, all of the "luck" will fall out...maybe next time you're tweaking your decor and moving things around (girl after my own heart, I do the same thing all of the time, especially when I see the cute things that you and others do) anyway, if you turn that horseshoe right side up...it'll hold more "luck" for ya, and smile at you as you pass through! Ü Love the BOOTS! My 4 year old is has been kept in boots by her Pa-Pa (my dad) since she was knee high to a grasshopper (still is) anyway, most are cowgirl boots. As Lexi would say, She's got "Blackens," "Brownens," "Pinkens," "Redens" and "Tanen's". LOL. Anyway, great job on the spring cleaning, I just did the same thing last week and realized after filling up 2 big bags of clothes for donations, that I need to go shopping. Ü I tackled all of the closets and pantry...but I am absolutely dreading my basement. I have a whole room where we store all of out camping stuff, seasonal decor, baby clothes, furniture, and anything else I don't know where to put, and will deal with "Later." Well, "Later" is upon me, and It's probably time for another garage sale.
Well, thanks again for being FABULOUS!!! You just amaze me!
Love ya babe! Tiff (AKA HAPPYTIFF)
