"C" is for COOKIE

My lowly, pitiful cookie jar REALLY looks pitiful compared to the following cuties................

This fabulous collection of COOKIE JARS belongs to my friend, HELEN.

She has a site on RATE MY SPACE under the name of livebold in case you would like to go over and take a look at her pretty home.....

She graciously agreed to let me SHOW OFF her magnificent collection and proving there is MORE TO A COOKIE JAR THAN MEETS THE EYE !!

I THANK YOU, HELEN.

A little PIG....what an appropriate SHAPE for a cookie jar....tee hee.....

I love the color of sunshine on this one.......

Is this a little MOUSE IN THE COOKIE JAR ?? Another little PIGGY?

A carousal......soooo cute, Helen......

This COULD be a gingerbread house.......

I think this is my favorite....I just love it.

(AMANDA, I know you like CUPCAKES so if this one comes up missing..........)
If you haven't seen AMANDA'S cute cupcake kitchen, you should go over and take a look....so cute!
I guess this fella likes burgers AND cookies !?!?

Bet he's thinkin' there may be DOG BISCUITS in here.....

The wise, old owl, guarding his stash, I guess !

Many thanks to LINDA for allowing me to share her great collection......

Now...I am off to see if I can find a CUTE cookie jar and put noodles or something in the jar I am now using!!

HAVE SOME COOKIES TODAY......
HUGS, bj

I am so ashamed.....I don't even have one cookie jar! I guess I better remedy that by the time my yet unborn grandchild reaches cookie stage :-0 Rosie

These are too cute. It's so funny that you did this post because I have a post planned about my cookie jar.

I guess we all like cookies.

Great cookie jars!
The last auction I went to, a vintage Little Red Riding Hood cookie jar (you've seen those, right?) went for only $75 - VERY good price! If I hadn't already spent so much I would have bid on it myself! :)

Have a great day!

Good Morning, Bj! I feel like a kid in the candy store. I can't wait to see everyone's postings each morning. It's so much fun! I love your music. Our taste are very similar. Especially, "These boots were made for walking". I've loved that song since I was a little girl. These cookie jars are fantastic. If i were going to collect something, it would be antique cookie jars. I love.. them. Well, have a wonderful weekend! Hugs, Terrie

BJ,

I love all of the cookie jars! I have a couple of my own, but I have a hard time keeping them full. Oh well, they are still pretty even if they are empty.

Thanks for sharing!

If I'm remembering correctly, Shabby in the City has a collection of cookie jars. If you should ask her about them tell her that I have dibs on the Man in the Moon. =) Blessings... Polly

Hi BJ, great collection, our cookies don't have anything so lovely to be kept in, just the packet they were bought in. Hope you had fun thrifting, waiting to see what you found!

Wow! What a collection of cookies jars!!! This fall the one we had used for so long broke. It was a Apple jar.
I started using Karen's Winnie the Pooh cookie jar for about a month and would you believe I broke it! I felt so bad.....

For Christmas my son and his family gave me a beautiful Goose or Maybe it is a Duck( we can't tell) cookie jar with the most adorable little ducks salt and pepper shakers that match. I love it so much! Because Bill gave it to me and it is so cute!!

My Mom was called Grandma "Cookie" and always had her cookie jar filled with really good cookies!!
Ok, you hit a button for me so I have written a long comment!!! Love and Hugs Grams
