ONE DELIGHTFUL SIGN OF SPRING and an AWARD

MANY THANKS to
and
for this wonderful award.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH, LADIES

I am honored to post this and will pass it on to others very soon. *********************************

My bird photos aren't very good as I was shooting through the glass front door....everytime I tried to open the door, he would fly away.......

A man dies and goes to heaven.

Of course, St. Peter meets him at the Pearly Gates.
St. Peter says, "Here's how it works.

"You need 100 points to make it into heaven. You tell me all the good things you've done, and I give you a certain number of points for each item, depending on how good it was."

"When you reach 100 points, you get in."

"Okay," the man says,"I was married to the same woman for 50 years and never cheated on her, even in my heart."

"That's wonderful," says St.Peter, "that's worth three points!"

"Three points?" he says. "Well, I attended church all my life and supported its ministry with my tithe and service."

"Terrific!" says St.Peter. "That's certainly worth a point."

"One point!?!!" "I started a soup kitchen in my city and worked in a shelter for homeless veterans."

"Fantastic, that's good for two more points," he says.
'Two points!?!! "

Exasperated, the man cries."At this rate the only way I'll get into heaven is by the Grace of God.

"Bingo, 100 points! Come on in!"

God did it with a nail.

EDITED TO ADD:
Please go over to see LINDA @ RESTYLED HOME to see her fabulous posting of kitchens this morning. She is showcasing several kitchens with painted cabinets and she graciously used pictures of my red kitchen.
All of the rooms shown are just beautiful and you will love seeing them.
MANY THANKS, LINDA...................

BJ, I believe you have a mistake in your link to the Restyled Home blog. Two letters are transposed. I enjoyed your story about the man that died. When I started reading it I was thinking that it would give people the impression that good deeds could get them into heaven. I was delighted to see that the only true way, by God's grace, is what got him in.

I love the story of the man that finally realizes that God's grace is the only way to heaven! AMEN!!

I haven't seen any robins yet this spring. Guess they don't like all of the snow we still have. I don't blame them! They would be ice skating on the birdbath!

Congrats on the award, you have a lovely site!!

Good Morning BJ,
I do like the pictures of the bird in your birdbath. They turned out good to me. I enjoyed the story about the man dying and the only way to get into heaven is by GOD'S GRACE. I did do a post yesterday morning. I see where your twin grandaughter's were in a basketball tournament this past weekend. I do hope they won. We have finished with basketball season here and softball and baseball season is in swing. That is going to keep me busy since both girls play softball. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

Enjoyed the story and the Robin pictures.
Always enjoy looking at your kitchen, maybe someday I will be brave enough to paint my 80's cabinets. Enjoy the day, Janie

What a wonderful story, and so true. It is truly a comfort to know what is waiting for us.

Mr. Robin appears to be having quite a good time.

I saw your kitchen. The end result is a wonderful interpretation of your inspiration.

Hi BJ I missed you while I was away. Had a great time with the grandkids. I sure they lived close by so we could see them for a few hours at a time rather than 24/7 for a week. They wear us out!I enjoyed all the beautiful bluebonnets (my favorite color)in your great state. The joke is great and I am going to have to send it to some of my friends. I am thankful that grace is the only way to heaven because I'd never get in otherwise.

Love your pictures! I have seen a couple of robins about too! You know me I am looking for any sign of spring. I posted some of my teapots and teacups because Caroline asked me about them, any ways I put them on RMS on my space with my kitchen cupboard, if you get a chance would love to share them with you. I won't leave them up very long.
