I'M DREAMING OF COUNTRY FRENCH *double sigh*

If I could afford to "start all over" in my decorating scheme, I do believe I would go with COUNTRY FRENCH.....ALL THE WAY. I love every thing about it.

Wonder why a pot from France seems to be prettier than one from USA? I know they cost a lot more money! It must be the colors, the style, the romance of it all!!?!!

Pretty blue mixed in with the yellow....

If my entry was larger, I would have something like this in there....

Ahhhh, the floral is the kind you would never tire of, I think.

Gotta have a rooster somewhere. I love the rug here, too. It's probably only about a million dollars, but it sure is pretty.

See the table here...I did one a little like it. I'll post on it a little later, even tho it DID NOT turn out as lovely as this one!! :(

Yummy tablecloth....*SIGH******

I would like to sit at a table like this and drink French wine and have a French pastry and French bread with French cheese and Fernando Lamas sitting across from me. Well, wait a minute....he has been dead for years....ok. maybe his son and I can't even remember his name....??? ANYWAY, he is too young. OK, leave off the frenchman and just pass me another French pastry!

Hugs to all !

Good Morning BJ,
Wow, those are some beautiful pictures. "THANK YOU" for sharing them with us. I'm sure it would cost alot of money to re-do a room like that. It's a good thing it doesn't cost anything to look or dream or I would be broke. LOL. I bet your table looks just as good or better than the one in the magazine. You do have good taste and from the pictures that you have shown of your home, it is beautifully decorated. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

Morning BJ!
I love the blue white and yellow pics--particularly the Williams Sonoma table cloth...I have been eyeing that for awhile! It does not fit anywhere in my house but I love it!
Happy day!

Hi bj,
Oh, I love French country, too! the fabrics, and the beautiful woods and stone...wonderful! I'm liking the idea of French pastry, too! :) Have you ever seen Charles Faudree's book, "French Country Signature?" See if you can take a pek at it on Amazon. It's beautiful!

Have a wonderful day!

So pretty!

And your music always makes me smile... :)

(OT - I have had a couple people tell me they couldn't get the video of Rick and Charlie to play... Could you? I hadn't used photobucket video uploading before, and if some people can't get it to play it's not what I want to keep using!)

BJ, you are so funny! Fernando Lamas or maybe his son....ROFL! Anyways, when I think of your house I think French Country. Your own personal take on it! Everything you do looks so gracious, just as the French country folk would do it. Hugs, Christy :-)<><

I love the vibrant colors of French Country. There are so many styles of decorating that I like though sometimes it makes it impossible to choose:>)

Lorenzo Lamas, remember he used to be on Falconcrest! I always thought the Lamas family was from Spain though. No worry, I am sure that dead or alive they would like good French wine!!

Love the look, never would go with my house. I can still admire it so thanks for sharing. Sorry Fernando Lamas is dead and he was born in Argentina. His son Lorenzo, born in the US, stars in the Bold and the Beautiful these days, I use to watch him in Renegade.
Love your blog!

BJ,

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment on Michelle's surgery. We went to see her tonight and she is very alert. I have another update.

Thanks for the prayers, my friend. They are much appreciated.

I love all of the photos of the French Country decor. I like roosters and that pillow is wonderful.

Blessings,
Mary

Hi BJ,

I have been behind in my visiting, but I haven't forgotten about you. I love the pictures you have shown today. I like the blue and yellow together. Actually, yellow is one of my favorite colors. We just remodeled our kichen, and the walls are painted yellow.

Beautiful pictures...I laughed out loud when I read your *million dollars* comment! That is what I always think when I see lovely rooms in my decorating books.
But you know what? I am betting that your table looks every bit as lovely as the one on the magazine.
Uh huh...I bet it does!
