The other night , I was fixing myself some cookies and milk.....and started looking around at all the BLACK and WHITE I have around my house.I LOVE Black and White....
Black and white toile is one of my favorites.........
This is a vintage, metal chandelier in my breakfast room. I found a lady on Ebay last year that covered the little shades in black and white toile with black gimp trim. I just love them....
More black and white...These are the frames I use the calendar pictures in each changing season. They have been a lot of fun.
I found this little plate at a thrift store a few months back....it fits right in with my black and white.
I bought this little game board at the same thrift store at the same time as the little plate listed above. I doubt if I would have even looked at it if it hadn't been black and white! :)
This is a vintage metal kitchen stool I found in a thrift store several years ago. I saw a picture of one, painted black, with white numbers on it in a magazine. It was just something that made her kitchen a little different from everyone else's.... I think she put her hubby's motorcycle number on hers. I put my hubby's high school football numbers on mine.
I SHOULD keep "this and that" in these cute, cardboard, stacking boxes but ...they are empty. They are so cute and I've never found any more just like them and I hate to use them much for fear of tearing them up.....right now, they look pretty neat but with the corners torn and etc, they might not look as good.
I adore different patterns in the same colors. It always blows my mind what just a tiny piece of ribbon or anything else minor can do for your room.....I guess it's silly, but, to me, it can add just a touch of personality and that's what makes our rooms OURS
I KNOW...I KNOW....you are probably getting sick of looking at my beloved Mackenzie-Childs pieces but I have to show you the latest....the tall canister is from my sweet hubby. Once I get all 3 canisters, I will move them to my kitchen and use them. Right now, they are sitting on a sofa table in my living room and lookin' good !! THANK YOU, SWEET HUBBY.

I love black and white, too... My kitchen floor is black and white squares, but sincethe tornado damage means we have to redo it, I'm really thinking about putting black and white right back in... lol OR a square pattern with black, white, and jadite green... :) Love to have black toile curtains... we'll just have to see!

Love the black and white! I have black and white toile window treatments in my kitchen, and accent with black and white check and ticking stripes! I use red, yellow, green and blue as accent colors also, but I do love the black and white!!
