JUST RANDOM THOUGHTS TODAY......

Like MARY at the Little Red House, I caught some winter morning sunshine peeking thru my shutters. It seems just looking at it warms me a little.

OOPS, I have no idea whatsoever why this picture printed twice. SURELY it wasn't MY fault!!?!! :( I like to blame this kind of thing on BLOGGER but, most likely, he didn't have anything at all to do with it......:) So, please excuse the duplicate. (I don't have a clue how to delete it without deleting the entire post!??!...will I EVER learn it all??? NOPE.

A few more rays caught in the early morning......

The new issue of ROMANTIC HOMES, in black and white, really looks pretty to me. Of course, I happen to love black and white. Some of these magazine covers are such works of art....I can NEVER throw them away. They are just too pretty.

I'm amazed how these great decorators come up with the most fabulous ideas....this little corner out of ROMANTIC HOMES really takes on personality with just a few items that are outstanding. Proves it doesn't take much space to make a statement in your room, I think. I love the unique things that make our rooms belong to US. And, I think it's neat how one thing looks soooo great to one person and not to another.

This is a fabulous movie that will rip your heart out! I cried so hard, I got the hiccups.

ATTENTION:
There is a scene or two that warrants this being rated R. I am no prude but I personally never figured out what these scenes had to do with the story line. It's just words more than action!!Just wanted you to know about it, tho. It's a very small part of the movie.

It is the first "straight" movie I've seen Adam Sandler in and his performance is outstanding. It is even hard for me to write about this morning after watching it last night...very sad and touching movie about friendships, among other things.

And, last but not least......

Sweet AMANDA from JACARANDA COTTAGE gifted me with this lovely award. Thank you so much, AMANDA, for thinking of me. I do appreciate it very much !

Please take this award and display it on your sidebar because I love all of your blogs!

I AM BLESSED !

It is truly a gift when the sun shines in the winter. I believe I saw something very familiar in one of those pictures :-)

Romantic Homes is my absolute favorite magazine right now.....it reminds me more and more of the old Victoria.

Your home is so cozy! I love those magazines, too... I used to be organized enough to take out the parts I loved, and put them in plastic sleeves in nice neat three ring binders lined up in a row on a shelf above my desk... *sigh* now the are all just stacked in two wicker baskets with lids, so people don't see my addiction to decorating magazines! lol.. Thanks for sharing your great photos!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Dear BJ
I wish the sun would shine through our windows... then again it would show how grubby they are!
Your home looks very inviting..
Thank you for the film suggestion... I do love a good cry... it clears the mind!
Lots of love

I enjoyed looking at the pictures you posted today. The red gave the entire room a look of warmth. I loved the rays of sunshine coming through your window.

I had the same thing happen to me yesterday when my name tag posted twice. I don't know what made it do that, but I left it alone as I didn't know how to delete one of them.

I don't get the award??? I think it is cute, though!

I love the sun pouring in like that. Nature is the best decorator!

Good Evening BJ,
I know I'm late, but you were still asleep this morning and then I had to leave around 8:45a.m. I'm just getting back home a little while ago and fixed me and the girls a quick supper. The Sun sure looks purty coming thru your windows there. It started out Sunny here this morning and then clouded up and has been cloudy all day. It started misting on us as we were coming into town tonight. I don't collect any magazines, but my Mom does. I'm not the interior decorator type. LOL. I'm just a plain ole southern gal that mixes and matches things. "THANK YOU" for sharing your home with us and your magazines. I am tired tonight. Take care my friend and have a great evening. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

I like the look of the new Country Living. I will have to pick up a copy.

When we are lucky enough to catch a few rays of sunshine in the winter we don't dare speak of it for fear that it will go away. We just point to it, go shhhhh!, and smile. Nice posting.

Congrats on your award, BJ. Call me dense, or even a ditsy blond...what does it (your award) mean. What is the significance of "less than three"? I loved the Adam Sandler movie. I almost forgot about it until you mentioned it.

Hi BJ,I have a picture on one of my post that shows rays of sunlight coming thro the window.I can't believe we have the same furniture. The big green , over stuffed ,with the high rolled arm rest...I do not have a red pillow, only a gold design one that matches a chair. I save my old magazines and use the pages to cover the bottom of my birds cages. My conure loves to hide under the paper and make crazy noises. Thanks for sharing with us. Have a good day.
