WE SURVIVED ANOTHER CHRISTMAS.....

Another wonderful Christmas....and now, I am busy putting decorations away! I LOVE Christmas but I also LOVE when it is all over with for another year. WHEW......such a busy time.

A couple of the granddaughters got tickets to the SOLD OUT, HANNAH MONTANA concert in Austin, Texas the last of January. They were so thrilled and surprised that they both were speechless while tears rolled down their cheeks. They've wanted to go to one of her concerts forever!

One handsome grandson got a brand new motor bike and he was soooo proud!

The other grandson found THIS in his driveway when he got up Christmas morning!! He is STILL grinning.
All the other grand kids received i-pods, lap tops, ear phones...all kinds of neat "stuff" and clothes like you wouldn't believe! WOW....
I will have a post soon about the fabulous, heart-filling gift Beautiful Daughter got from her romantic knight in shinning armour. It made us all cry!! :)
I hope your Christmas was all you wanted it to be. Now, we are ready for a bright NEW YEAR coming. And, I keep wondering, "What the heck will I find to post about, now that Christmas is over?"
HUGS!

Good Afternoon BJ,
We leave our Christmas decorations up till after the first of the year. That way we can enjoy them on New Year's Eve. Oh my gosh, I am so happy your Grandaughter's got some Hannah Montana tickets. My youngest daughter was just in here and she had to read it. She said she has been wanting to see her too. Me and my Sister tried for a whole day to get tickets for our girls. Hannah was in Memphis, TN last month. Tickets were sold out in like 8 minutes for the concert. She even tried to get tickets to the concert in Little Rock, AR as well, but it was sold out also. My girls would have loved to go seen her. They did get some Hannah Montana Clothes, Toothbrush, CD's, and DVD's from my Sister. My Sister also got my youngest daughter a Hannah Montana Barbie Doll. Now that new vehicle, I call those Boxcar's. LOL. That's what they look like to me. I'm glad yall had a great Christmas. I am looking forward to the story of the Knight and Shining Armer story. Can't wait, so don't keep us too long on that one. Well, since Christmas is over, we can talk about what we do for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Then after that is over, we can go back to talking Food. LOL. Take care my friend and have a great afternoon. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

Hannah Montana? WOW!! I hear those tickets are hard to come by and sooooo expensive. What a wonderful surprise. Sounds like all your family got some really nice gifts, especially the car. I can remember when I was a kid I only got one gift for Christmas and nothing near that expensive.

So, BJ, what did you get for Christmas? I hope you got everything you were wishing for.

I'm like you in that I've been thinking what in the world will I write about now that Christmas is over. I actually live a very boring life and never feel that I have anything to write about that others would find interesting to read. Oh well, maybe I'll think of something.

Wow! Hannah Montana... I wouldn't mind seeing her daddy, myself... lol
I used to leave the decorations up until New Years, but there is something so sad about them after Christmas is over...
Sounds like an amazing Christmas for your grandkids! Gosh! They must have been on Santa's EXTRA nice list this year! :P

I hope everyone had a great Christmas! I had to write a few words of defense on the HUGE gifts my kids got this year. We do live in a very lucky family, but we don't always get such extravagant gifts! The car came because that son had the bad car wreck and had no vehicle (good timing, so that we could use it as a Christmas gift! ha). The Hannah Montana tickets, we lucked out on! We had joined the fan club about 6 months ago, and so happened that we got first dibs on tickets, so we only had to pay the actual ticket price ($60). We sure did think about selling em on ebay, but the girls would have never forgiven us for that! We basically have no defense for the motorcycle other than to say that is my husbands passion too, so he overindulges in that area! Christmas was so great at Mom's house. She always does things with such a special touch. The food was terrific, and the gifts were amazing! Love you Mom!

P.S.--SHHHHH!! It is BJ's Birthday on the 31st of December. Just letting all her cyber friends know so they can help her celebrate a big one! Love, Beautiful Daughter (this name she calls me is so corny. Only a mother could come up with that)

BJ, How nice that your Granddaugheters will be going to see Hannah Montana..
My Daughter joined the HM fan club and was lucky to get 2 tickets. My granddaughter Isabella thought since they were sold out she would not be going. She was shocked and so happy when she opened the box Christmas morning to find the tickets. The concert is Jan. 4 in Cleveland Ohio about an hours drive from here.... I'd love to be there (not to see HM) to see Isabella having her dream come true.
Sounds like your family had a very nice Christmas.
I hope you have a very happy new year.. ~Mary~ :-}

Good evening Ms. BJ! Looks like ya'll had a fabulouso (is that a word) Christmas. My grandkids got so much my daughter forgot to put it all out! We put up most of the Christmas stuff tonight (sweet hubby such a big help - no complaints) so I fixed him a peach cobbler. He's now trying to blame the dog that it's all gone but he had some suspicious crumbs around his mouth!
Here's wishing you an early "Happy Birthday" in case I forget to tell you on the 31st - Judy
