~ LOVE ~

When Beautiful Daughter opened her gift from her KNIGHT IN SHINNING ARMOR on Christmas morning, the above is what she found.

17 1/2 years ago, she decided to sell her wedding gown.....and for 17 years, she tried to get it back.

Her Dear Sweet One and Only searched high and low and ............FOUND IT. The lady wasn't interested in selling it back to him.....at first. He was on a mission now, so he did not give up! No, sir, ree.....no way!

After making the lady an offer she couldn't refuse (we didn't ask!!), she did sell the dress and the beautiful, long train back to him.

I can't even begin to tell you how surprised and pleased and thrilled absolutely to death Beautiful Daughter was. After she finished crying her eyes almost out, she kept a smile on her face all day long. With 2 daughters and 2 future daughters-in-law that will have a chance to wear the lovely gown, Beautiful Daughter is so thankful to have her dress back where it belongs. If her hubby had given her a kings ransom, it wouldn't have even come close to this gift from his heart.
Have a romantic day ~

Good Morning BJ,
Want to have a cup of coffee with me? Oh my goodness, I love your Daughter's Wedding Dress. It is just breathtaking. I just know she was beside herself when she opened it up. I'm so glad he was able to get it back for her. And to think other Women in the Family will be able to wear it, is absolutely wonderful. I still have my Wedding Dress. I'm not going to part with it. Hubby bought it for me. He picked it out for me when we were looking at Wedding Dresses. I'll keep it and let my girls wear it someday.(Not in the near future LOL). "THANK YOU" for sharing such a romantic and beautiful story with us BJ. I really enjoyed it. Take care my friend and have a great Saturday. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

Awww what a sweet story. She must have a special man.
Thanks about my house.Have you ever did the wash on a cabinet like they are doing now? I just have a few in my bath and they are white. I hate them. I want to do a light tan and use a brown style style and wipe most off.

Coming out of lurkdom to say that man is definitely a keeper!! So sweet and thoughtful! But my question is, how did he ever find the dress in the first place? Was it still with the person your daughter sold it to?

I think that is the most wonderful story I've ever heard... :)

I never had a wedding dress, or a wedding, but I am sure that a wedding dress is something treasured...
Have a great rest-of-the-weekend! :)

Oh what a beautiful story! I wore my mother's wedding gown, and I hope my daughter will choose to wear it, too, so I know how precious it can be to have that continuity in a family. What an amazing gift!
