"A TOUCH OF PROVINCE" ~~

Just a touch of Country French in my house works for me. It seems to blend in with country pretty good. I love it...could be the colors the French like to use; deep reds, blues, golds, yellows and greens.

This little chest is one of my favorite pieces. I love how the artist painted that rooster in a coop!!
They seem to love roosters in France; there's a lot of them shown in Country French decor.

I, myself, LOVE roosters and have quite a few but....that is a whole other posting!! :)

Sunflowers are so pretty to me...I, of course, like the fresh ones best but they don't last long enuf for me. When I found these great fake, uhhhh, I meant FAUX ones, I was delighted. These will last much longer.

I HOPE YOU HAVE A HAPPY DAY ~~

I still love that chest BJ, I bet you'll never get sick of looking at it. I love sunflowers too. I get a bunch growing under my sunflower birdfeeder, but then the birds eat all the seeds out of them so they don't last too long!

I love going to your postings each day! Didn't realize you loved roosters. I've run out of space for another one and may have to let them overflow into the other rooms. But, then, that is another story. I've also enjoyed going to all of the other blogs on your site. Keep up the good work and the cool ideas.

Beautiful! I love roosters and my favorite place to shop is a little store called The French Hen.

Thanks for stopping by my blog - your blog is lovely and I will be back.

The pumpkin bread was delicious. Next time, I'm adding chopped pecans.

Have a wonderful evening.

WOW!you sure dont look 70! I am glad that your grandchildren still come and see you. I think it means 'a job well done' I truly pray that they will always want to be a big part of my life. MY husband and I kinda have a hard time our morgage is way to high so when they come over now it is truly because they want to not because there is a toy. I take my 4 year old to recycle for extra cash and then he picks out a toy to take to the good will and then with the money from recyling he can buy what he wants! I just want him to learn that life is more than about ourselves. I am going to add you to my blog roll if it is okay.
Have a blessed day ( sorry about going on and on )
