A few more glimpses into THE MOVE....

Mr. Sweet built the nicest utility closet to house our great little
stackable washer and dryer.

We never could have gotten it done without the help of our son, DAVID KEITH...
he is such a blessing........(and so handsome !)

Mr. Sweet  did a wonderful job on the closet....as always. :)

This unit looks tiny but it actually has a nice sized washing and drying ability.
I haven't "broken it in" yet but my laundry basket is beginning to get full so I'll give it a try tomorrow.

This HALLWAY OF CLOSETS and SHELVES
is between the bathroom and the living area.

In case you didn't know....
this is a large POOL/GUEST house behind our son's beautiful home...

So much storage in this wonderful house by the pool......

I haven't unpacked many blankets as yet....
but there will be plenty of room for whatever comes along.

...big, nice shelves and I still have several with nothing in them....

never fear, tho.....like I've said....
many unpacked boxes yet to go..

I am looking at a large moving box that has
TOWELS/WASHCLOTHS

so there will be lots more stacked here....

I LOVE these closet shelves...

so handy, so roomy, so neat....

THIS room, full of individual closets is the most amazing thing, ever.

No more climbing
attic stairs, carrying large boxes and Christmas tree down ....

this is going to be a lifesaver for olden Mr. Sweet and myself.

....just walk to the closet...open the doors and bring out what we want to decorate for Christmas with.

Of course, with a laptop, you aren't chained to one spot...

Back in the summertime, I moved it all outside by that pool...*heavy sigh

A little corner of the tv room....commonly called LIVING ROOM....:)

I have my wicker desk looking good....this is where I'll sit to pay all those BILLS...(bummer)
This desk is in front of the stairway to the basement. ........

so far, the rest of the room is still full of BOXES.

More to follow later....

Hugs to all....
and thank you much for knowing I can't visit much right now...
too much on my plate.

  23. Hi BJ!

You are soooo organized! I know how exasperating a move can be, but you are handling your move with ease. Wish you lived around the corner so that we could take a break and have a cup of coffee and a long chat. Sending you lots of love and ...

  24. Oh, BJ! I'm so happy for you. Your new home is going to be gorgeous! I haven't been blogging much for the last 2 weeks and I scrolled through your posts to see what all you've been doing. I love everything! Thank you for your kindness, sweet friend. Don't work too hard.

  25. Hi sweet friend! Have you posted a view of the front of your new home? I am trying not to miss your old front porch but I am. :( However, if you are happy, all of us are happy for you. I saw the photo of the pool but wasn't certain what I was looking at. I am thinking it was the back of your home? It's still a bit confusing. NICE new washer and dryer. My daughter had stackables and I am just too darned short to be able to reach the top one comfortably. Just beautiful!

Just the thought of moving still, even after five years, is upsetting.
They will have to pry me out of this home. :):) WITH a crowbar!

Take your time, don't kill yourself unpacking like I ALWAYS do. I get driven to get everything done. Always have. At our age, not a good idea.
Big hugs to you, bj. Mr. Sweet did a lovely job..but like you say, he ALWAYS does!

  26. I love it all!

Now, I realize that this blonde hair gets me in trouble, but I might as well admit it that even though I knew your son had built it for you, I didn't realize that it was on his very property. That makes it a billion times better. I'm just about knocked out with the blessing of it all. It's EXACTLY the way God intended our family units to be. You are an excellent example of a Christian family. Well done!

  33. Hi bj, It looks like a wonderful vacation spot that you can live in all year round. The pool is gorgeous. I DO NOT have great storage, so I am envious. Smile.

The TV/livingroom is lovely. I figure the best deal of all is much LESS to clean. That works for me.

Don't work too hard unpacking. You have wonderful men in your family to help with the heavy stuff. How great is that?
    Love you much,
    Jeanne
