For toppings, I like
MAPLE SYRUP ....

and...of all fruits, APPLES are one of the lesser expensive.
SO....

ReplyDeleteYou and KariAnne and her mom are three very smart ladies. My grandson would love you very much - he does love French Toast.
ReplyDeleteNow that's what I call a breakfast! Bet you enjoyed it:@)
ReplyDeletemmm! yummy!!! I do like apples and this time of year I like them on everything with just a touch of sugar and maybe some walnuts for crunch.
ReplyDeleteOH MY yummy goodness:) I want some of that! Have a blessed day dear friend, HUGS!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful breakfast. I can almost smell the cinnamon and apples. Have a blessed day. Madeline
ReplyDeleteneat idea
ReplyDeleteMakes my half of English muffin with peanut butter and half a banana look so sad...
ReplyDeleteWe love sauteed apples on our french toast or pancakes. The apple farm here charged 41.00 a bag, about 20 lbs. It is getting ridiculous. An apple a day keeps the doc away, and now we won't be able to afford the apples either!
ReplyDeleteHope you are well, BJ! Your breakfast looks delicious!
Well, from this post, I can see why NanaDiana comes here often. Just wanted to pop over and tell you that I loved the Loni Anderson wig comment you left on her blog.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking on pancakes for this weekend, but I am going to take this idea and run with it! That looks so good.
Have a great day and thanks for making me giggle!
Anything apple is right up my alley! I have done apples like that many times....on french toast...but your bread looks better!
ReplyDeleteBJ, this looks amazing! I've never put apples on top of my french toast. This may be something new for us this Fall!
ReplyDeleteMy mom used to make sauteed apples like this for us for breakfast when we were kids and I LOVED them. They're good on just about anything, or just as a side, but french toast definitely takes the cake. Yum, yum!
ReplyDeleteTHOSE DO LOOK DELICIOUS!
ReplyDeleteMoving takes a lot out of you. Just keep sampling all those goodies you prepare to keep your strength and patience.
ReplyDeleteBJ,
ReplyDeleteThe french toast is so beautiful that I am speechless. Truly. Speechless.
Hi Bj, Have you ever tried peaches on your french toast. Yummy. Apples are too. So many ways we can have our french toast of a morning. Have a wonderful day. Hugs and Prayers from your Missouri Friend.
ReplyDeletemy word, the carmelized, cinnamon apples look good! yikes!
ReplyDeleteHmmmmm...looks so good I feel like having some right now!
ReplyDeleteHi BJ, I'm Jettie, a friend of Diana's...you know, one of those she wouldn't allow to post a question.
ReplyDeleteI'm now following your blog. Love that french toast idea. My grandkids love apples and I'm betting we can put a few on the next toast.
Check out my blog, jettiesramblings.blogspot.com
I agree, BJ. I love French toast. I've never had it with the cinnamon apples, but every since reading Kariann's post I, too, have wanted to try this. Yum!
ReplyDeleteI have not made french toast in a long time, but this looks so good, I must try it. Love apples anytime.
ReplyDeleteThanks for telling us how good it is.
Blessings,

ReplyDeletePure apple love perfection, dear bj! Why have I never thought of this? My son will love it! xo
