CHILDISH .

I don't see how they had the "balls" to pull such a stupid thing!!!!! I don't. And sorry, but there is no other way to "put" it.
ReplyDeleteOf all the obviously transparent tricks to pull!!!!
It is not BO's House. It is the People's House. Paid for by We The People.

Cute move, Glorious Leader.
ReplyDeleteMake Citizens hurt, in stupid ways...
Blame it on the Republicans...
To bring about Rep. Defeat, in Congressional Elections in 2014...
So that with a full Democratic Congress behind him, he can complete the Transition Of Our Beloved Country, into a 3rd rate European style Socialist republic.
GAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG......

Agreed. My friend's son is going on a field trip from Austin to DC next week over spring break and now won't be able to tour the White House. It is bs.
ReplyDeleteI would say this is just the beginning.
ReplyDeleteYep...I agree totally!!!...:)JP
ReplyDeleteI guess I will have to be the one to disagree. The sequestration didn't effect volunteers--it has impact on support staff, part of which is technical, legal, medical, safety, mechanical, materials, maintenance, traffic, etc. If someone was injured or became ill, or if trouble erupted and there was lack of support--Everyone in the country would be up in arms. It is too bad. Our school goes to Washington every March for Senior Trip and will miss this also. But safety of everyone is foremost. I have a relative employed there and this was the explanation reported to me...
ReplyDeleteThere's so much going on and I think we'll see a whole lot more. Childish is a kind way to put it.
ReplyDeletePutting it in the terms of childish is just plain polite.
ReplyDeleteI could just spit nails, am so mad at this prank.
Nonie
Honestly, I am not surprised these days at anything I hear! Our Children act better than that bunch up there! HUGS!
ReplyDeleteAmen, BJ! When I heard the announcement I could not believe my ears. I fear this is only the beginning of more childish, stupid things.
ReplyDeletePlease send this post to President Obama! Love the comments!!!!
ReplyDeleteVery childish and deceptive!!!!
Great post!!!!
You know, I rarely get political...but I am telling you, I am furious over this....how dare they close the White House to the people who are the White House....oh, I better stop before I OFFEND someone!!
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, I didn't hear about this. Such a mess!
ReplyDeleteI agree it's childish, but you have to admit it's entertaining. ;P
ReplyDeleteSince we're stuck with the little dick-tator another couple of years or so, I admit that I'm looking forward to watching his next temper tantrum.
Does that make me a bad person????
Ugh - I agree. And then DC employees get a paid snow day off, while other govt employees are furloughed taking an effective 20% pay cut the rest of the year (my husband is retired Army and works as an Army civilian, and that's what's happening to him). I agree with cutting the budget - but this sequester isn't even a cut - it's just less of a rise in spending than planned for. Unfortunately, the extra money has already been spent on other stuff (paying off donors maybe?) so the real people get hit the hardest (and my husband is NOT one of those overpaid govt employees - he is WELL under that alleged $100K/year salary average, and hasn't had a raise or COLA in about 5 years). And I am so tired of arguing with my uninformed friends about how economies really work (I have a math degree and have studied economics) ... they just don't get it and are all caught up in how 'unfair' it is that there are rich people around, ugh. (Meanwhile, the 'hero' Hugo Chavez amassed a fortune of 2 billion just *saying* he was for the poor)
ReplyDeleteOops .. I digressed, sorry for the rant, I'm going back in my cave now, lol.
Yes, the people's house should be open - we pay for it, we should have reasonable access to it.
BTW, thank you for such a lovely, entertaining blog - it's one of the bright spots of my day :-)
Patty
Mmmmmm, a wee little suggestion...
ReplyDeleteLet Our Glorious Leader pay for his own Golf Trips. And give back to the People, access to their White House.
Oh I know, I kinda' agree with Bill O'Reilly, who said, when we holler about Our Glorious Leader's Golf Trips, we sound petty. We need to save our hollering for big stuff.
I just love it, that Bill O finally came around to noticing, what Our Glorious Leader really acts like. Hey, it took Bill O. nearly 5 years, and it only took me less than the whole first political campaign. But hey, just glad he finally caught up!
I don't know as I'm not American ;) but if the President wants the WH to be his house he can, very well do so. Yes, Sir, your Right! I'm sure it's even in the Constitution. Yes, Sir.
ReplyDeleteBut you need to pay for it ;). From your own pocket... as the rest of Americans do ;).
Beware of something first - trust a foreign watcher on this - if you start this there's no stop - wifey will have to pay for the bangs, kiddos for the rags, Bo his own food... ob boy, I mean Sir, your next Christmas you're on a fix - it must cost a lot for all those trees and trimms... oh boy, I mean Sir. And with such gas prices you'd better start skypiing the family in Hawai - no more flying there and virtual signing laws for the stayed-home-rest-of-Americans ;)... oh boy, I mean Sir.
Loved the chuckle this brought me. You're a GEM, Dear BJ! Love,
T
Amen to all the above comments. Childish and very immature. Have a blessed day. Madeline
ReplyDeleteI had missed this, but my mom mentioned it to me this morning so I came to share my ever-present opinion:
ReplyDeletePreach it, sistah.
In a funny aside, my daughter who works for a congressman had something on her facebook about calling their office for a "Sequestour" of the Capitol because THEY are more than willing to continue giving them. Made me snicker.

ReplyDeleteThe White House is paid for from our taxes. This is an Obamanation. He is an embarrassment to our country. Woe are we bj. Our congress, for the most part, can't accomplish anything. Neither can Obama that is good for our ailing country. This move hit a nerve and I am not sorry for speaking out.
ReplyDeleteWhew, it is good to get this off my chest. I try not to be against the president of our country but I am over it. Lord help us.
Love you ,
Jeanne
I try to stay away from politics and watching the news, but I can say this, I didn't vote for him this term! That should tell you something :-)
ReplyDeleteI did delete my comments because I try hard not to be political but I wanted to say that I'm tired of political "digs". I'm afraid that the more there are, the less chance there is of anything changing in the next election. The republican party seems in unbelievable disarray and everyone needs to do their part in being positive. I've tried to move on but many haven't. I understand it's hard but we need to heal, not harm.
ReplyDeleteThanks, BJ, for stopping by and reassuring me that my comments would be accepted and appreciated.
Best,
Bonnie
P.S. I'm glad you are feeling better. My husband has been busy "handing out" Tamaflu around here as well. It's a nasty bug in town. So far, our house has escaped without getting it.
ReplyDeleteBest,
Bonnie
