~ A Book Review ~

 Hi, Ya'll,
When my friend, TRACY, recently contacted me about doing a review of her
brand new Ebook,
I was just thrilled.
I, for one, LOVE Ebooks....especially Ecookbooks.
She was kind enough to send me a copy of her VOLUME 1
and the first thing I found was

BUTTERMILK SCONE FOR TWO

How romantic is THAT.?
Just the word  SCONE  is romantic......
and the thought of TWO HEARTS sharing ONE SCONE made me hear violins playing ♫♪♪
YOU  ARE  GONNA  LOVE  THIS  ONE.......
....not only does it TASTE luscious,
it LOOKS luscious.
While this recipe called for CURRENTS, I decided to use CRANBERRIES.
I also used IDEAL sugar substitute instead of SUGAR
and, I promise you, you can not tell the difference.
I followed everything else as in the original recipe.
So pretty, I decided to have an
Early Morning Lawn Party....
for two....♥ ♥ ♥

 ...a table for two,
if you please.

 ♫♫♪♪♫
 ♪♫♪
Truly a SCONE worth writing home about.

If you are interested in bed and breakfast recipes,
( and, pray tell, who ISN'T)
you can purchase your copy of YUMMY B&B RECIPES, VOLUME 1  by clicking right HERE.

You can meet the editor HERE.

I am looking forward to trying more recipes out of
YUMMY B&B RECIPES.
I know for sure that this first try was TOTAL success.
As I try more recipes, I'll be back to tell you all about it !!
and PLEASE...
if you buy the ebook and make some of the recipes, would you
kindly share with us ?
Thanks...
XOXO bj

  10. The early morn makes us hungry, and since the heat of the day is not quite there yet, a backyard breakfast is amazing, starting with that stylish candelabra and finishing with those wonderful scones (and a stout coffee too). A great day is now just ahead of us!

  15. I love scones and I love this post! I love ALL of your posts!

Now......I want to ask you something. Do you know your neighbors across the fence very well? Because if I were your neighbor - and could hear you out there having an early morning lawn party.....you can bet your bottom dollar I would be peeking over that fence hoping for an invite!!
