WHICH CAME FIRST......

AN AGE OLD QUESTION.....

This beautiful pair goes by the names of
BONNIE  and  CLYDE
I don't really like eggs but ONE way...
DEVILED
One thing I  like about them is that they taste great,
no matter what you have on hand to put in them.
I LOVE adding deviled ham when I have it...or bacon bits.
I never make deviled eggs that I don't think of some of our good friends.
They were working in their garden...she had put eggs on to boil before going out.
In a few minutes, she sent her 11 year old son in to turn off the heat, run cold water
over the eggs and cut them and  separate the yolks and the whites.
She told him she'd come in after awhile and make the DEVILED EGGS with the yolks.
When she went in, she looked around for the whites and couldn't find them....
"I ate 'em, Mom"
"You said you'd make deviled eggs with the YOLKS and I didn't wanna just throw the whites aWAY."
THIS time, I used LITE Ranch Dressing,
chopped celery
dash of hot sauce
grated cheese
chopped dill pickles
salt and pepper
fresh, chopped Cilantro
and I might have got a little HEAVY with the Paprika....

  11. Hi BJ,
This recipe looks great. I am now following. Thank you for visiting and following Adorned From Above.

You asked if I really linked to all of those Parties. I do link to all those parties. This is a new blog, it has only been up for 2 months. At first I did not know how to get people to find the blog. I found the linky parties a month ago today. I went from 1000 pageviews the first month to 9000 pageviews this month. I am so grateful that people are interested and reading my blog.

I would really like to thank you for visiting and following. I really appreciate it.
    Have a great day.

  12. Oh, your deviled eggs look good and I just love Bonnie and Clyde.
That story is so cute. I was trying to figure out what he did to the eggs. You got me with the whites. I didn't see that one coming. Little ones are so innocent and literal.
Congrats to Kelly...shoulda left my extra chances. LOL
    Hugs, Ginger

  15. Great looking eggs. I always eat them when we are at family gatherings and such but I seldom make them myself. Now I am wondering why NOT?

  19. BJ,
    Delightful story!
My daughter~in~law LOVES deviled eggs. I try to make them several times a year...just for her! My (cooking)son is always telling me how to pipe the filling back into the whites...to make it a better presentation! I always answer,"Why?" See...your wife ate them...just the way they are!" To which, she smiles!!!
    Fondly,
    Pat

  20. Funny story! Our family loves deviled eggs, but I've never made mine so interesting. I always do the same ones...with a bit of paprika on top or if I'm really living large...an olive slice!! I may have to try out "doctoring them up" a bit.

I think it is funny how quickly deviled eggs disappear at a covered dish event. People don't make them anymore I guess...I get asked for the recipe?? Really???

  21. Ranch dressing??? Never thought of that! These sound SO tasty!
Got an email from MacKenzie-Childs yesterday asking if I would like to work the Barn Sale - WOULD I??? "Of course", I replied! I am quite excited (of course I will spend more than I earn, but I would have been there anyway!) I have made my wish list and if I get 1/2 of it I will be thrilled (I want 4 more berry bowls in asst patterns and some more luncheon plates in asst patterns)
