~ Note Card and other fun PARTIES ~

HELLO to all my sweet friends... 
I am sooo happy to be joining in so many great linky parties today. I hope you will come by a few...or all...and check out what everyone is sharing.
When we post something, most of the time it is because we are so proud of something we've done...
be it a great dinner, dessert, awesome crafting, something new or thrifted....KILLER photos....so of course we want to share. And, it makes ALL of us feel so good when others say such nice things.THAT being said,

it is once again time for VEE'S monthly
She asks that we submit 4 photos that have appeared on our blog at one time or another...
this month, I am going ALL THE WAY BACK to last fall.
My note cards this month are entitled
"AN AUTUMN MANTEL"
 "Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower."
"Autumn arrives in early morning, but spring at the close of a winter day."
"The cold wind, the frosty rain, the colorful leaves, ahhh....... FALL."
"The foliage has been losing its freshness through the month of August, and here and there a yellow leaf shows itself like the first gray hair amidst the locks of a beauty who has seen one season too many."

    Love your pretty mantle BJ! The 'ruler' for lack of a better term, is such a cool edge and gives great definition to what's on the mantle:@)

    BJ, it does not matter what you post, you make it fun. That is the way it should be. Just reading yours, helps me to keep trying. Firefox and Blogger are definitely acting up. Guess I will have to try and switch to Google Chrome. I am always scared to try and install something different.

    These really would make great note cards! Although I am not ready to think about Autumn quite yet:)

    I had to come see what you have been up to. I have survived moving all the furniture out, getting the carpet, moving it all back in...my niece's Chicago wonderful wedding and my dad bringing his girlfriend for a few days. Sigh. Now it is time to get back to checking up with my bloggy friends.

    Has it been terribly warm in your corner? Downright hot? What has you dreaming of autumn so soon? I love this set of note cards...just love them...the colors are soft and lovely...and the sentiments are terrific. I love your sweet sense of humor!

    I love your white dishes...and your ruler edge shelves and delicious recipes but I do no want fall to come!...at least not for another 8 months! I'm not a fall person even though the trees are beautiful and the days are cooler. I'm not having any thank you..

    hi Bj! Your mantel is so cute. You always make your posts and photos so much fun. I have been out of touch too. Now that my boys are home for summer my time is limited on the computer. I have been thinking about the magazine copy cat challenge. May be early July, as this month is flying by so fast. We shall see, but I will let you know. Have a great day.
