Many times when I start cleaning a room,
I start thinking "something new"......
Nothing NEW here......
just changing places with a couple of tables...
that's it.
I really love this candle holder.
I found it one day on a CLEARANCE table and
have loved it ever since.
Yep, I like this table in this spot for A CHANGE.
Not a LOT of difference, granted....just enuf to give it a fresher feel.
NOW.......for the glass topped table......
1. Too SHORT for the large, wide pictures of THE ROOSTERS.
2. UGLY table and waaay too LIGHT looking.
Looks like it might float OFF just any minute.
BUMMER......
(I bought this little metal table with the really thick glass for $16.00 at GoodWill)

OK, let's see what we can do here because I am wanting
TO USE THAT OTHER TABLE in the spot behind my sage love seat.
and my SOCIAL SECURITY budget doesn't allow for a new, pretty table.
.....maybe I'll find one at the thrift....
stranger things have happened.
NOTHING I can do to make it longer...
and
no other wall space for the ROOSTERS to hang out.....
...hmmm,
maybe if I add HEAVY looking things....BIG things.
Well, this is looking FAIRLY good but it still looks like it could MOVE UPWARD.
I remembered some of the things our creative friend, KIM, over at SAVVY SOUTHERN STYLE
does with cute pillows....
and altho THIS is not a bench,
just two little upholstered stools from BIG LOTS,
I put the long pillow I bought from Kirklands not long ago
on the little stools....
I do believe it helped GROUND that lightweight table....do you?

A BIGGER greenery arrangement.....
Yep...I like it.
Yep...I like it.
Little plain tables, just changing their spaces and their dress....
I sure do thank you for putting up with all my moving things around here and there.
Like most of you .......

Hi, bj! That's the trouble with cleaning...it always lead to redecorating! I end up rearranging something and then I run out of time for the important things like bathrooms! lol! And I recognize something familiar! Looks great!
ReplyDeleteGreat Fluffing...love the glass table now! Hugs
ReplyDeletebj you made that table work!! Love your fluffing! Hugs, Linda
ReplyDeleteOh I'm loving the table! Cleaning leads me to redecorating..always, but yours look great.Terrific fluffing you did my sweet friend.., I love this word, it's so perfect for US bloggers..THE FLUFFERS!! Lots of hugs,
ReplyDeleteFABBY
I'm lovin' the table under the roosters! The greenery and the pillows really make it look beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOh we all love to putter and fluff. I need to do more around here, but it is not going to happen any time soon. You could make anything work anywhere. I'm convinced of it!
ReplyDeleteHi Bj, I do love your fluffing. I like your glass table with how you decorated. I enjoyed the previous post. I am taking a little me time and reading. Take care. Your Missouri Friend.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, BJ! Good for you for being able to look at things with a fresh eye.
ReplyDeleteHey Bj~ I just realized that for some reason you dropped off my dashboard (when you do a new post). I hate when this kind of thing happens.
ReplyDeleteAnyway~ I think that the way you bulked up the table really helps a lot. It isn't so lightweight looking now.
I hope you have a great night- xo Diana
Always fun to switch things up for a new look. Of course I never change anything.
ReplyDeleteIt works for you Bj, it really does work. One thing always leads to another.
ReplyDeleteNow you can come over to my house and rearrange my furniture to look as good as yours... and clean too!
ReplyDeleteYour glass table looks fabulous under the rooster prints!
I'm with Yvonne ... c'mon over BJ!
ReplyDeleteLove the table draped with that gorgeous runner. Your home is just lovely.
Have a great week ~

Oh B.J I just love coming here(think I have told you that about 1,000 times now) Isn't it fun to fluff..I can not imagine not doing it!!!! Have a great Mothers Day..xoxo
ReplyDeleteThat just looks great, BJ. Fluffing is such a good word for what you've done there. Unfortunately, the only fluffing at my house is taking place under the furniture where the dust fluff is multiplying.

ReplyDeleteThey look great BJ! I don't do much moving things around, but it sure looks like fun:@)
ReplyDeleteYou Fluff good bj! you've got a great eye for shopping your home and changing things up. It's fun to do, I know!
ReplyDeleteLove the changes! It is amazing how you changed the table under the rooster pics by adding the weight both on and under! Brilliant! Have a blessed day my friend, HUGS!
ReplyDeleteLove your changes BJ! I'm the same way. My tables move around all the time! Great job!
ReplyDeleteI need to shop for something new. But - it seems like I find the cutest things when I'm not looking for them, so I've pretty much given up the chase. I never really thought of rummaging through the house to see what I could move!
ReplyDeleteYou have quite a knack for moving things around and they always look terrific when you are finished. Have a blessed day. Madeline
ReplyDeleteIt's funny how just moving thibgs around can change the whole look and feel of a room and lighten our mood!!! Love what you did, the smaller table looks much better with the larger arrangement on it and the big lantern, perfect! Love the oak table behind the love seat and LOVE that runner!!! XO, Pinky
ReplyDeleteYou have so much fun, doing these things! It's wonderful!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGood morning Fluffy..girl when you fluff, you fluff..I still can't move furntiure yet..but have looked at things the same way far too long ha ha!
ReplyDeleteMay you have the BEST ever Mothers day my sweet Sis..Love ya Gl♥ria
Great Fluffing. I love the rooster pictures.
ReplyDeleteHello BJ....I've heard decorators say "don't buy more; use what you have." It's true that most of the things we need to give a space a new look is right in our own homes. You certainly did a great job of finding those things and moving them to the right places. Wish you were here to help me move my stuff around! I just love to do that..especially on rainy days, like today. Be blessed...Jan
ReplyDeleteIt's been a while since I've been able to stop by ):~ I forgot what neat posts you always have!
ReplyDeleteI'll try not to be such a stranger!

Bj, I love your runner on that table. Mine has been put away until Fall, but I didn't think of putting it on the sofa table. My, my..I just might have to do that~!
ReplyDelete:) I love the basket with the matchng liner beneath the table. Still looking. I just get in a rush to run my mouth to you! :)
Hugs!
BJ,
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm loving those pillows and that ruffled table runner! Change is good. If you're like me, dear friend, it'll change again soon!
Fondly,
Pat
It looks great! I often freshen up by moving things around. If we can be happy with what we have when so many others have so little, it's a blessing:>)
ReplyDeleteYes the big flower arrangement balanced it all out. The pillow underneath is the perfect width. I love movin stuff too.
ReplyDeleteAnn
I love the changes, especially the little stools and pillow, just genius! Thanks for stopping by. Now you've made me want to move stuff, too!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Patti
