"Orange is symbolic of Irish Protestants while green is symbolic of Irish Catholics. On the Irish flag, there is an orange stripe, a green stripe and a white stripe. The orange is for the Protestants, the green is for the Catholics and the white is for the hope of peace between the two.

ReplyDeleteI'm with you all the way about the icky lamb in...well, in my case, anything. I even tried it in Nova Scotia. I figured they knew something we here in Texas didn't about how to cook it. They didn't.
I put out my dinky little St. Pat windsock on the porch today. At least I know when a cold front comes in. ;)
