ONE GIRL'S STORY
It seemed to her that, in order to play ball for THIS team,
her hair HAD to be RED.
"What's up with all the red hair here?" she asked her coach.
He said, " Well, toots, since our team's name is
THE REDHEADS FROM WICHITA.
if you can't dye your hair red, you have to wear a RED wig.
So, a wig it was.
She loved playing on this team of redheads...even tho the tempers flared often.
When she grew up, would you believe that her choice of hair color .....
RED.
All's well that ends well......as long as it's RED.
Hahaaaaa....that was fun, Jenny.
I am also linking with
SHADOW SHOT SUNDAY since I found shadows in this photo. :>)
While I like red, I wouldn't be quick to dye my hair or wear a red wig!
ReplyDeleteAlways wanted red hair and freckles, but now I find that silver coordinates so much better...LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the pic of you and hubby, you look like a really fun gal, us older bloggers have so much experience to share...and frankly m-dear, we just don't give a damn, we are who we are, like it or not, a girls just gotta have fun!!!
Thanks for stoppin by!
That is red red and more ruby hair. Hey, rules are rules! Although a heavy red wig might make for a sweat fest in the Panhandle!
ReplyDeleteCute story! I like red hair too.
ReplyDeleteI'll have to keep an eye out for those "Redheads of Wichita" since I live in Wichita. Haven't seen that much red hair in a long time!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend. Mickie :)
What a CUTE, CUTE post. I love this little Centus! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteExcellent take on this week's prompt...welcome to Saturday Centus !
ReplyDeleteOh I love red hair! My hubby was a ginger, my son was a ginger and I tried it once myself. Looked like Howdy Doody. hehe.
ReplyDeleteRedheads have another advantage: They have more hair per square inch than brunettes. Great take on the prompt!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great job you did writing a story to go with that picture...love it!! hehe Most of my family/relatives are either blonde or dark haired but I did have one cousin who had natural bright red hair and tons of freckles. She used to stand out quite a lot in family pictures! lol Unfortunately she passed away of cancer when she was just 30 years old...but I'll always think of her as my little red haired cousin:) xoxo
ReplyDeleteCool story BJ, the centus is always fun! Happy Saturday:@)
ReplyDeleteWiggy! Fun post! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a funny picture, isn't it? And you did a good job making it come alive!
ReplyDelete=)
Well I couldn't imagine how you'd approach this...you did it with your typical wit and good humor, Toots. Cute!
ReplyDeleteGood story!
ReplyDeleteLove your imagination!
Ha ha ha, this was so cool, and all I have to say is go red go....give a R RRRRR Give me an E EEEEEE ....give me a D DDDDD! Spells RED!
ReplyDeleteThat is the craziest rule we've ever heard!! Fun, but crazy :) Have a great weekend BJ!
ReplyDeleteYou have plenty shadows standing around. Take care.
ReplyDeleteA great twist of the redheads. That she wanted to be red when she became an adult. Wonderful I love red heads.
ReplyDeleteBlessings
Very different post. Cute, but different. I am a brunete, and have a hint of chestnut in my hair, but I am not sure I would dye it red.
ReplyDelete"...even tho the tempers flared often." LOL! As someone married to a redhead, I can relate! Wonderful job on this!
ReplyDeleteLoved this!
ReplyDeleteNumber 6 is actually one of my red-headed Granddaughters! And she does have a bit of a temper!
Thanks for the smile!
Loved your take on the picture prompt.
