SUMMERY SUNDAY SHADOWS...

Summer shadows can be sooo hot
when you are out in them..
 SHADOWY places..
Shadows working hard...
Just too hot in these shadows...
A self portrait  shadow...
I know this is a REFLECTION and not a SHADOW..
just caught some RAIN water the other night to pour on my plants.
Praise the Lord for much needed rain.
 SHADOWY

  1. Stay in the shade and drink plenty of those root beer floats... it's a nasty summer everywhere.

  5. I'm glad to hear that you finally have some rain - I hope it was the kind that soaks in and not the sort that runs off.

  6. Yum, I'll have one of those root beer floats, please! Actually, I think I will drink it as I sit and watch my chicks playing in their chicken coop. (See the other comment I left on another of your posts to understand what the heck I mean. LOL!)

  16. I love your photos! Did you know where I live, it is illegal to collect rain water? Can you believe such ridiculous baloney like that? The world going to hell in a hand basket and the govt. won't allow us to save rain water! Of course, I wonder what the going rate is on the black market! Hee Hee!
    Love the post! Anne

  17. BJ,
Your shadow photos tell a lot of your lawn. We, too, have been praising the Lord for the rain here on the Prairie! Had my first root beer float (in years) just a month ago in the triple digit weather...it went down so smooth! A welcomed refreshment of a hot Summer day! Cooler temperatures are coming...hang in there!
    Fondly,
    Pat

  18. Hi BJ! I could use one of those root beer floats right now. Looks yummy! Hope you get more rain soon, we got a little overnight.

Thanks for stopping by with your kind comments! You asked about the music playlist I had on tomorrow's memories and how to get one. You can click on the left hand button at the bottom of the thing (for lack of a better word) or go here: http://www.playlist.com/.
Create or go to one you already have and "share" it. You have to hunt for Blogger, but it's there.

I'm your newest follower - would love to have you follow me, too!

  20. But at least the shadows offer the ILLUSION of being cool! :-)

    IF SHADOWS

    If shadows could jump,
    How high would they go?
    As high as the moon?
    Does anyone know?

    If shadows could weep,
    How long would they cry?
    As long as it takes
    To climb to the sky?

    If shadows could laugh
    And tell funny jokes
    Would you take them home
    And say, “Get this, folks!”?

    If shadows could wed,
    Would they prefer you
    Or somebody else
    To promise, “I do”?
