Blueberry Hill

I never eat or use BLUEBERRIES without thinking of one of my all-time favorite songs,
BLUEBERRY HILL
FATS DOMINO
OOO, baby!!
I saw THIS recipe over at 
5 MINUTES JUST FOR ME
and since I had just bought 2 cartons of TEXAS  BLUEBERRIES....
and 2 cute little red MUFFIN plates...
...nothing would do but...
MAKE these for Mr. Sweet and myself...
They are VERY good....

    I could definitely go for some blueberry muffins right now! I'd smother them in butter and enjoy every bite! Notice I said "them." Yep...I'd eat at least two! :)

    I have such memories of picking blueberries at a place where we used to live called Apple Hill. They are such a good summer fruit and I think I will sing that song next time. Joni

    You always find the worlds cutest dishes BJ! Blueberries are in season right now in MIchigan and they are so good! Maybe I'll try that recipe:>)

    Oh, I got to go and get some blueberries! These look too good to pass up! I am dreaming of blueberry scones, lemon curd and while Blueberry Hill is rolling around in my head. Please don't make me forget about the yard work to go blueberry picking! Must...do...yard...work...

    I still haven't seasoned my pan yet. How lazy am I? I need to get some lard to do it though. I wake up thinking about your biscuits!

    Boy, how pitiful do I sound? I really need a life!

    Sweet plates...bet they made the muffins taste even better. How can anyone go wrong with blueberry muffins? Yummy.

    I don't know if I've mentioned three out of seven granddaughters before. Are these the three we can blame on Mexico? :D Very cute picture!

    A funny story for you, Beeej. When I saw Elvis in the early seventies in Evansville, IN along with me were my Mom, Aunt and 2 cousins. Well, when the King came out I never saw the likes again of two 40-ish women with their tounges hanging on the floor at the site of the gorgeous man on the stage. When we got home my Uncle said to them, "hey, wanna go over the the Executive Inn, Fats Domino is playing." As good as Fats was, they said, "Are you kidding! We just saw Elvis!!!" So cute, I will never forget it and of course, nor will I EVER forget seeing The King!!!

    Yum. Precious plates. I was telling my husband, we really should go to GW sometimes, BJ sure finds neat things at her GW. Haven't gone yet. Were those GW finds?

    I love blueberry muffins. We have an area blueberry farm, but I haven't seen any notice in the paper this year. I need to call them. I love fresh blueberries and they are so good for you! The plates are darling!

    They look very good! And those blueberries are ginormous! My blueberry bush didn't yield this year, or else it is very late!

    I love blueberries too! Used to love to go pick them on the high bushes, run home and make a pie!
