OLE'

Mr. Sweet was hungry for
a TACO SALAD
so he just made us one.
Daughter had brought over these drinks...
whew...REALLY tart !....but very good.
He even made fresh, homemade SALSA...
OLE '
These taco bowls are the ones that are flat in the box
and there's 4 FORMERS that you put together,
put on a cookie sheet and lay your FLOUR tortilla over.
Cook 10 minutes (I think..better read on the box)
and when you take them out, the tortilla is magically
a little bowl...all ready to hold all the things you love.
We filled those babies with fried, scrambled LEAN hamburger meat with TACO seasoning in it...
lettuce
onions
black olives
cherry tomatoes
medium hot salsa
fresh cilantro
Mexican shredded cheese...
LOVE fresh lime squeezed over my Mexican salad.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

  11. Oh that looks so good. I would love some.

You said you couldn't find the grain sack toweling. Just go to www.quilterstudio.com and when the site comes up, the left hand column says fabric then tea towels. Just click the tea towels and all kind of styles come up. Good luck. Hugs, Marty

  17. I have to look for thse shells. I love taco salads but the ones at restaurants are supposed to be very high in calories...so I'd rather make my own.

Now...if I could get The Husband to cook!

    XO,

  31. Tacos and taco salad are my favorites. Time to have them again, soon.

I haven't seen these little taco bowl makers. I'm going to have to be a little more alert so I can find them.

Looks yummy! And that ice cream cone is the perfect ending, too.

  32. Taco salad is always a big hit at our house, especially in the summer. Do you think Mr. Sweet would come to Georgia to make some or teach my husband how? My hubby doesn't cook, but I can't complain...he does dishes.
    Have a fun weekend,
