FRIENDSHIP...The Sweetest Gift

    Love this post, the quotes, and the candy.

    Here is a little trick with soft peppermint sticks. I learned this as a Brownie leader nearly 40 years ago. Before we took little hikes, we pierced oranges with these soft peppermint sticks. We filled large plastic bags with these oranges. As we got thirsty while hiking we "sipped" the juice through the peppermint sticks. BJ, that was the most delicious and refreshing treat along the trail.

    These mints are a brilliant orange hue - like the sun, maybe, with the white adding the scattered clouds. My imagination may be getting the better of me...

    I also loved this post! My dearest friend since childhood is coming in just a few days and I have not seen her in over four years. She was with me through the deaths of both my husbands. I honestly do not think I would want to live on this earth without her.

    I have been blessed with wonderful friends in this life...and in this blogging world of our..YOU bj...are one of my dearest.
