A few VALENTINES from the past...
and some from the present.
♥
VALENTINE'S DAY
has always been a favorite holiday of mine.
I can remember getting the most beautiful,
mostly handmade cards from school mates...
and I definitely remember my first box of candy
from....a....boy !

Mr. Sweet is my favorite VALENTINE...
I made him a big, ole
CHOCOLATE PECAN FUDGE HEART..
and he loved it. :)
Not a Valentine lunch...
this was in the heart of the summer...
salad, served on heart shaped plates taste TWICE as good...
....a pretty VALENTINE dessert....
This beautiful VINTAGE, bisque angel
hung above childhood photos of my brother and I
all the time we were growing up.
Mother said it was our guardian angel...
She is so pretty...and I am so glad to have her.
The most beautiful little crystal paperweight with
Love grows...
a treasured gift from my son and daughter when they were teenagers...
*sigh
I am blessed. These LOVE BIRDS are for all of you and your sweeties....
That Valentine Pie looks a little ragged...
but it sure tasted good...
MR. SWEET....
We will be Valentines
forever and ever.......
amen !
We both hope your Valentine season is filled
with LOVE and ROMANCE and HAPPINESS.

May I take just a small slice of that wicked looking lemon meringue pie, please?
BJ, I'm back this morning for another slice of lemon meringue. Yum! ~ Sarah
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for joining me BJ!! I love your pretty red table. I also read your "scared" post and had a good laugh. I can just picture this. Me and the 5 yr old were home the other day and something went thump thump in the dining room right after I took the pictures for this post of my G. Grandfather's desk. We still don't know what it was. It was pretty loud. My 5 yr old turns to me (has seen ghost hunters w/teens a few times too many) and he says, "do you think that was your great grandpa because you are taking pictures of his desk?" LOL I assured him that he probably would love the desk being used. Your post was just so funny because we just had the same kind of experience. Thanks so much again for coming by.
ReplyDeleteSherry
