happiest valentine's day !
;0)
Our cute friend, LYNN, always has the BEST parties..
and this one is no different...
be sure to go over and check out the fun posts....
I have a brand, spanking new
waffle iron that is my FAVORITE gadget in my kitchen right now.
I received this beautiful iron from a gift code so generously
given to me from
I do dearly love fresh strawberries with waffles.
...and the BLUEBERRIES...
they just about bring me to my knees...
they just about bring me to my knees...
MR. SWEET likes maple syrup on his waffles or pancakes
while I love the blueberry best.
This is an easy clean-up waffle iron
which scores BIG points with me.
This amazing baby makes SIX waffles at a time.
My olden one made ONE round one and we
kept having to wait wait wait until I had enuf made
to sit down and eat together..
Actually, the old one belonged to my mom.
She had asked for a waffle iron that made a single waffle
and it was the last gift I gave to her.
oh honey
I just realized that I didn't even take a photo
of Mr. Sweet's plate...his syrup didn't
look NEARLY as pretty as mine. :))
I am hoping YOUR
VALENTINE'S DAY
is filled with romance and wonderment.
MUCH LOVE TO ALL,
♥♥♥

I want a waffle now!
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine's Day!
Kelly
Yum, bj, I LOVE waffles!! They need to be just the right cripsiness so they aren't mushy and aren't burned! Then, the butter gets spread all over and oozes into the wells. Next, the fruit--blueberries, strawberries and bananas. Last, real Vermont maple syrup! I want one now and yours look delicious!!! Linda
ReplyDeleteGotta love a good waffle iron. Your photos are fabulous! YUM!
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine's Day!

That looks like a dandy waffle iron. I like waffles and pancakes both. I rather have pancakes as waffles get cold too quick. I prefer the plain old fashion maple syrup. I love the new photo on you bio with the little cute face.
ReplyDeleteOh, golly. I didn't think about my waffle iron - and I do love it so! In fact, I worried and worried about it and put off and put off buying it because it was rather expensive. But I haven't regretted a dime of it. Makes great chocolate dessert waffles too. Let's all give a cheer for WAFFLES. Hip, Hip, Hooray!
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine's Day to you and Mr. Sweet.
ReplyDeletexoxo, Sue
Those waffles look YUMMY!!! And Beeej, I know he's not with us anymore but we need my guy, Mr. Newman, with those other yummy guys! Big sigh...

ReplyDeleteI love the kitchen gadgets! Could I borrow your Selleck for a Sunday family dinner? Your Connery for a picnic with my Scotch Plaid picnicware...and the Elliott for a little cowboy flavor chuckwagon?
UMUM lip smackin good;)
Ah, these waffles are beautiful to start, homemade a bit better than the frozen variety in a toaster. Berries are a topping that works wonderfully. Happily, REAL maple syrup is in use. So tasty in view as well as on the plate!
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine's Day, dear BJ:-) Make sure you come over to pick up your Valentine!!
ReplyDeleteThis is too funny...just yesterday I was at the mall and was looking at the waffle irons in WalMart. I almost bought one then thought I'd just wait. Now I come here and you just bought a new one! hehe I really like the idea of being able to make 6 at a time! Your waffles look so delicious with the fruit and syrup, a perfect Valentine breakfast:-) xoxo
Thank you for your sweet comments! I have been here many times for YOUR beautiful pictures and tips on photography! I appreciate the kind words...I am just now learning some tips on lighting. I like your new blog design and that picture of your sweet grand! I wrote a post on 'raising children' just above the lunch box post...parenting has not come easy for me, but I am very blessed that the Lord has taught me! Thanks!

ReplyDeleteYummy! You always make the tastiest looking breakfast foods, eva! I agree, making six waffles at one time is the way to go! Very nice machine! I hope you had a wonderful Valentines day!
