aren't you going to do a
CHRISTMAS table
using your signature colors of
BLACK and WHITE and RED ?
I said, "Why, you bet your boots, I am.."
so I visited the past for a
BLACK and WHITE
TABLE FOR TWO....
One of my dearest friends made these adorable polka dot place mats for me..
I started this setting on a solid BLACK table but it was
just a little too ....emmm....ugly STARK for me
so I added a white cloth...
ahhhh, softer and much better..
There's those little vintage and, oh, so versatile
tiny little white pitchers...
I just filled them with holly
and...walla....INSTANT CHRISTMAS...
....a candy cane, a sprig of holly and a
polka dot ribbon and I had
INSTANT napkin rings...
Have you ever imagined how versatile
BIG RED PLATES are?
I do love mine....
all year 'round..not JUST at Christmas.
It's amazing how a little holly..
candle light..
a touch of RED
can spell
C.H.R.I.S.T.M.A.S.
**
I leave you with Beignets puffs,
all covered in powdered sugar...
Please...
help yourself.

ReplyDeleteHi BJ...
ReplyDeleteMy friend, WELCOME to Sunday Favorites! I was just tickled pink to see your name on the list of party participants! Thanks so much for joining in with the fun! What a sweet post to revisit...your beautiful Christmas table definitely deserved a second showing! Girl, everytime I see black and white polka dots...I think of you!!! Hehe! It really is your "signature"! I love the simplicity of the white pitchers filled with the Christmas holly for the centerpiece...that's sooo pretty! You know, I am really missing my holly up here in Colorado! I had a bunch growing in my yard when I lived in Texas. I have a set of red dishes as well...you have probably seen them in a few of my tablescapes. You're right, they are so versatile...I use them all the time! Well Darlin', this has been such a treat! Sure hope you'll join us again for Sunday Favorites! You're welcomed any ol' time!
Have a wonderful day, sweet friend!
