It is always such a delight to just come over to see what you are 'cooking' up next.
Have a beautiful winters eve ~

Wonderful post! How do you stay so thin with all of the cooking and baking you do. You must have a will of iron!! Take care, Sally
oh sweetie whata beautiful spread you put out! It was so much fun visiting your lovely home for Christmas, so much to see. I do believ I'll have some rasberry zinger tea and scones if that's all right with you :)
Everything looks fantastic. I am so glad I don't live near you I would be as big as a house (I would make excuses to visit every day!) Every time you post food it looks so YUMMY. Happy Holidays
Hey Texas lady! Your home is so festive and welcoming, but what I love most about it is your hospitality...You have the spirit of Christmas all year long. Just got an order to make a Texas santa and thought of you! I'll try to post it soon. Now... I'd love me some quesadilla por favor!
BJ, I think I have gained 5 pounds just visiting your blog...everything looks so great to eat and the decorations are so warm and cozy....enjoy this holiday season.
Merry Christmas,
Amelia
Oh BJ, I just loved all of your photos!! Christmas at your house would be a joy!! Thanks for sharing!
Oh my goodness, BJ! I wish this were a real open house because I would love to come and sample all of that delicious food and those sweets. And thank you for the tips on making the cookies and the peppermint bark, I didn't know how to do either.
Love, love all of your sweet decorations. You love Santa's the way I love snowmen! Everything looks so festive and I love the clean lines of your mantel! Beautiful!
Happy Holidays, my friend!

Beeeej,
I loved your open house! Thanks for having us in. I only wish I could share a cup of hot chocolate with you in PERSON!!! As you say, bwaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
Thanks so much for opening your beautiful home for the Christmas tour. The food looked delicious and I probably gained weight just looking! You're one special lady!
OH, I could just eat my way through your home and turn around and do it again. I loved everything and went back again and again to enjoy your beautiful photos. You have such a warm, welcoming home that I'm sure will be filled with love at Christmas.
Hi BJ,
You do know how to throw an open house, that's for sure. I know I won't leave there hungry and I'll be bringing my appetite.
Love the Mark Roberts fairies, they are my favorites.
Everything looks so pretty and festive. I'm happy just looking at it all.
hugs
Sissie
It's going to take me awhile to eat the quesadilla (is there a Margarita to go with that?) then I'd love a taste of that cranberry scone - love cranberries. Hmmm.....while I'm browing I'll take some crackers with jalapeno cheese - a cheese staple in my world just for nibbling. I'm so full so I'll just sit on the couch and look at all your beautiful Christmas decor and feel the warmth of happy Christmas in your home. Please don't make me come back here to the Oregon rain. I'm so full and content and could really use a nap.
Your house is like a cozy hug...makes me smile all the way across the country in Illinois! You also made me tear up a bit...but that's okay too. Everything looks so pretty. I don't know why I didn't think of combining all these parties into one post. I wonder how many pictures I can take before morning?
Oh bj, everything is so pretty! I love your tree and I'll bet it's amazing at night too. Love the stockings..can I just come and stay the night? Oh, and I want another cup of hot chocolate too! ;D
Well now I'm stuffed BJ but it was such good food:>) And you always have the cutest dishes and deorations, you must have been very busy decorating this past week! I'm picking away at mine, I'll call it done soon whether it is or not. Just too busy to fuss too much, but I'm still loving the lights and sparkles.

I'll see you for Pink Saturday with your favorite holiday movies.
Such a happy post, even if I my eyes are a bit damp (your wish for Christmas). Thank you for all the beautiful photos and the recipes and for pointing the way to the reason for all this.
Well, let me just say that I will be looking back thru the pictures and zooming in:) Lots of sweet love in your decorations! I LOVE the picture of your Mama and I DO believe that they are presented to us in dreams by GOD! I really believe that!
I pray you and all of your family are enjoying these days leading up to the Christmas celebration!
Love to all and to all a goodnight! HUGS!
Deeeelightful post!
Lovely!
Yummy!
And best of all.... I CAN EAT THOSE P.B. COOKIES! 'Cause they have no flour in them! Wheeeeeeeee...
Told 'Uncle A.' and he wanted us to make them, RIGHT NOW. -gigggggles-
I keep him on quite a "short leash," with what he eats for desserts... Because he has to watch his Cholesterol too. Anyway, he's kind of "getting-antsy", to have me made SOMETHING sweet. ,-))))) 'Tis the Season and alll that jazzzz.
Btw, as an example of his "short leash," this morning on the way back home from errands, we stopped at Dunkin' Donuts, so I could try one of their flavored decafs. [Which I brought home and put my own sugar and Soy creamer in..]
Anyway, he said; "Can I get a donut, while we are in there?" And of course, I said; "NO!"
Geee, someone has to keep his arteries ok!!!! ,-)
Wow, it looks like Christmas at your little cottage BJ! Those cranberry scones look delicious...but then all of your goodies do.
What a fun and festive home you have! I've enjoyed my visit. Thanks for sharing with all of us.
Enjoy your evening,

your decorations are great. love that fuzzy tree. My dgt and I read the ingredients to the peanut butter cookies. I said..wow..that's all there is to it. She said...yeah but mom...you know us...somehow we'll mess them up. :( Are they really that easy to make? I can't bake for beans.
Oh my, everything is just so pretty. I love your trees and all of your vignettes are stunning. Your little fairy is so cute under the cloche, and wow, all the goodies look so yummy. Thanks so much for joining the party. Hugs, Marty
