It's all about
NUMBERS..
NUMBERS..
PINKS
FAVORITE THINGS...
Sometimes, it's pretty tricky to create a post that wants to play in more than one meme...
THIS is one of those posts....
I think I am all over the place with this one, so..
PLEASE BEAR WITH ME..
HUMOR ME..
and leave me a loving comment so I'll feel better about
creating A HAPHAZARD POST for you...:)
LOL
NUMBERS...
what the heck is so special about numbers ?
Well, for starters...
they just plain look CUTE on things..
ANYthings....
*
I totally intend to try the ABOVE..
Glass paint...
rub on transfers...
scratch part of paint off...
fill with favorite ANYthings...
I just fell in love with these cute lamp shades and
STOLE their picture
and now I can't remember where I got it...
seems SHE did them for her boys room...
If SHE is reading this, leave me a shout and I'll add your name to the cuteness..
*
I found these PINK numbers on the net
and I am thinking they are some kind of place cards...
They are adorable..
Yes, I know this isn't NUMBERS..
But...it's PINK.
and it's
MY GRANDMOTHER'S NAME.
I wish now that I had named my daughter EMMA..
Where was my mind 41 years ago when I was blessed with a beautiful baby girl ?
OH NO...on second thought...
we named her JUST RIGHT...
and when I googled STACY LEIGH IN PINK,
this photo of her and her daddy was the first image that came up...
Now THAT is COOL..
Even if you don't LIKE numbers...
you MUST think all the above is pure cuteness.!
Some of you might remember that I found a whole, complete
set of the best WHITE canisters at GoodWill..
Altho I liked them WHITE....
I could not WAIT to get some black numbers on them...
*
Realizing that I am a fickle fickle lady, I decided to use
I just used the vinyl numbers on tags and tied with jute...
I think it's so much fun to try new things...
to step outside your comfort zone..
to just....
GO WITH THE FLOW...
One reason I love blogging is that I get all these cute, new ideas...
seems I learn something new every day...
like a lot of you, I get tired of the SAME OLE THING...
I love adding pizazz to my surroundings....
don't you ?

ReplyDeleteHi BJ, I just wanted to let you know that the grapes, oranges and cheese on my post are made with clay, Fimo, and it's baked in the oven. They are all dollhouse miniatures. They are so much fun to make.
ReplyDeleteBJ, those canisters turned out so great! They look like something in a fancy gift store! The entire post was great, and now I want to put numbers on some glass jars with somethings inside. Great idea to put the numbers on tags on your baskets. I do see great ideas in Blogville every day. Now, if I could just remember all of the great ideas that I said I was going to do when I first saw them. Thanks for linking to Favorite Things Sat. laurie

Good Morning BJ. You always seem to find some of the cutest things and have the neatest ideas on how to decorate things. I think the number thing is just neat. I really like them on the White Canisters. I love those White Canisters myself and sure wish I had some of them. I like how you used the ribbon stuff and put the numbers on your Baskets. I just don't have that kind of talent like alot of people do. "THANK YOU" for sharing all of your numbers with us. I really did enjoy it and they all look so good. Take care my friend and I hope you have a great upcoming week.
ReplyDeleteLove and hugs,
Karen H.
