RODEO....

HELLO, WORLD SERIES....!!!!
WAY TO GO
TEXAS RANGERS !!!
**********

IT'S RODEO TIME....
*

This amazing and beautiful horse lay down for the
entire opening PRAYER..
I loved that...
*
We love going to RODEOS...
They were a HUGE part of our lives when our son
rode BULLS all thru high school and, after winning a
really nice scholarship, he rode all thru college..
I always quit breathing when it was his time to RIDE...
and once he was finished and NOT HURT...I started breathing again.
*
THIS rodeo, however, had our granddaughter, COURTNEY, riding...
*

MR. SWEET...with his pinkness of skin...
 son, DAVID and KATHY..
*
GRAND ENTRY...

DEEDS with her memaw...
FIVE little granddaughters, lined up in a row...
Blessed I am ....
*
THIS is COURTNEY...
such a blur...
my camera wasn't set on SPORTS and it was all over
before I could get a GOOD shot..
She was doing breakaway roping..see the little calf in front of her...
She missed this one !...maybe next time..
**
Guess I'm being strange here but....I kind of like this blured photo...go figure!
*

FOUR of 'em came home with me...
...spending the night...acting SILLY...giggling...
cousins loving cousins..
*

And their granddad went to the store for DONUTS the next morning..
GOSH but we had a great time..
Ain't life grand ......
..and it's ALWAYS better when you have sweet little grandgirls spending the night and.....
PINK donuts..

  1. What fun for you (except for holding your breath!!) My 14-year old just asked me today if she could spend the nite tomorrow, but unfortunately we have plans. The fun will have to be delayed. Maybe next week. Enjoy your weekend. Sally

  15. I also love the rodeo even though I grew up in the city. Each year a group I belonged to sold the programs as a fund raiser and got to see it. A great way to get out of the city. I actually love the blurred shot.Happy Pink Saturday have a great week. Debbie

  42. Good Morning BJ. I love watching Rodeo's as well. We have one every year here in our town as part of our Annual 4th of July Celebration. There are even some locals that ride in the Rodeo too. My favorite thing about a Rodeo is the bull riding. There are some tuff bulls and mean looking bulls in those Rodeo's for sure. We have some friends that ride in Rodeo's all over. Sounds like you had a good time with your granddaughters. Take care my friend and have a great week and may GOD continue to BLESS you and yours.

    Love and hugs,

    Karen H.
