NUMBERS....(repost to add link)

 I hope you've scheduled a mammogram soon...
**
 My thrifted olden book shelf...$10.00
painted the best french black...
$189.00 from CSN STORES and looks to be a very nice piece...
that price includes all the baskets..
**
But, when I began to see numbers on everything,
I WANTED SOME !
I'm about to pitch a hissy fit for some pillows with numbers...big
numbers....

I had these vinyl numbers left from my CANISTER set project...
and altho they seem a little too large, I'm going to live with them for a few days
before I change to the smaller numbers...
*
I had tried stencils on baskets before and they looked terrible.....
SOOO, using tags  is perfect because when POTTERY BARN says this fad is done,
I can just take the tags off...:))
 *
I AM LOVIN' THESE....
MR. SWEET rolled his eyes so far back in his head when he saw these that I wondered if he would ever
be able to see again.....
LOL

  1. Yep, you've got a winner! I love the tags with numbers. May I please "borrow" that idea? I'm hosting a baby shower soon (yes, a friend of mine, in her 40s, had a blessed surprise)and think I could use that idea as a theme. Baby #3....

  2. I like your ideas. Men just have a different eye for things than we do. You are probably the only that uses this, so do it for yourself.

  3. At least your hubby NOTICED you did something ... mine never does ...
    Love what you are doing.

Have a beautiful weekend, my friend.

  5. Even though the shelves from CSN stores are extra pretty, I like yours much better! I do like the number tags on them too. What a cute trend!

I just did my product review for CSN today. Gosh, I do love that store! Come see my pretty that I got delivered! Can't wait to see what you get.

  6. I always have a yearly mammogram. And I just had the 6 months check, on the breast where "something looked funny" in the spring. And lots of testing showed, that it was ok.

Since our daughter is a breast cancer survivor, we are well aware of this whole topic. Too well aware, you might say.

Hmmmmmmmmm... I'm the first one to answer your first question. Interesting. Hope I'm not the last one. It's very important. Thank you for reminding people.

    Gentle hugs...

Poor Mr. Sweet. Hope his eyes have rolled back to their normal, functioning position!

  8. The number tags look great! And you are right, with the tags you can remove them when you no longer want numbers.

p.s. do you leave anywhere near College Station?

  11. Thanks for the reminder on the mammograms...we should all have the button on our blogs.

The tags look great on your baskets. What a great idea. I laughed about Pottery Barn letting us know when the fad is over...I think they get their ideas from us! ;-D

  22. "when POTTERY BARN says this fad is done" LOL...and I can just picture your hubby's eye rolling...we all know it. I didn't even know about the numbers being in so thanks...I would hate to be uninformed....to have missed the fun. Your $10 shelf find is GREAT...much better to personalize your home than looking like a clone of a store.

  33. I like the idea of the numbers being temporary. I made some pillows with numbers for my porch rockers recently and my husband doesn't "get" why the numbers are there. I had to show him the PB photos and he's still scratching is head about them.

  34. Love it ! I think it's hilarious how PB has become the "decorating be all/end all"... I find myself pouring over the catalogs as if they were magazines - lol !

  35. You are a hoot with your number fetish! In fact, it is wearing off on me. Today I was at Target and saw some white apothocary-type containers with numbers; however, they all had the no. 1 on them. You might want to check that out--but, don't have a hissy fit if your Target doesn't have them. Do have a good weekend though.

    Best,
    Bonnie
