I'M A BOOK WORM on this BLUE MONDAY....


blue monday...don't we all just love it!
thanks so much, SALLY, for doing this fun event for us....
we love it !

The pretty plate (with a tiny bit of blue) is from MEXICO...
the hen and rooster....FRANCE....

such a great part of being retired is that there's more time for reading...
when BLOGGING doesn't get in the way, that is.... :>)


I AM TOTALLY IN LOVE FOREVER WITH
BOOKS...
(see that blue book there .....it qualifies this photo for this BLUE MONDAY !! ;O)


BOOKS are pretty and so are BOOKENDS.....
(no blue here...soooooo...I'LL be BLUE !)

I AM ALSO TOTALLY IN LOVE FOREVER AND EVER WITH MY WALL OF
BOOKSHELVES... (remember...i got them one day at a thrift store for $80.00
and just p'd all over myself with excitement....they fit my wall just perfectly...
(just a tiny bit of blue here....*sigh)

AND....I just LOVE this book by
JOYCE MEYER
that I won from
SWEET SMILING SALLY...

    What a great collection of blues to start our week. Love your Bathroom Diva shot. Your just the cutest thing. Think I'll go see if I can find something blue to take a pic of. I lived in a house for 20 years that was blue EVERYTHING and when we sold it, never bought another blue anything. LOL

    Good morning BJ, I'm just a tad blue this morning. We are supposed to go to Christmas luncheon and we are snowed in. I will just have to decorate for Christmas. That's a good thing.

    As always I love your post this AM. Especially your diva shot. Love the plate and hens. I am sure your dtr. has a flair for decorating too. I so envy your bookshelf. sigh. Our books are still in boxes in the garage. A chore beyond words.

No wonder you were so excited about them... I am not much into blue and have hardly any in here... and if I did living in the motorhome it would be only one post...     Every time I see your bookshelves I get GREEN with envy...or on Mondays I guess that would be BLUISH GREEN with envy. Those shelves are so perfect...and what a steal! But then it's the wonderful way you decorated them that really makes them charming!

    Like you, I love reading and read about 2 books per week. I would love to have room for a set of those bookshelves. I could fill them with many wonderful books so there'd always be one at hand.
