I have never had the pleasure to spend a night at one of these MAGNIFICENT places...BUT I WANT TO !!............REAL BAD !!
Just LOOKING at these lovely homes in the photographs makes me want to make a reservation at one of them RIGHT NOW. From what I understand, the rates per night for staying in such a lovely place aren't any higher than staying in a nice hotel and most of the time, the food is out of this world......
and just think of the fun of being in such lovely surroundings...

Well...you can come in for awhile and sit in that sweet chair by the fire and we'll have a cup of Raspberry Tea and a finger sandwich or two before you go on to YOUR room....
oooooo, delicious looking, for sure and soooo SPECIAL....
I can't tell just what this is but....it's scaring me a tiny little bit....
I just LOVE fancy foods.....
I sure would rather have THIS than a frozen LEGO WAFFLE, how 'bout you ??

The Truth: This warning is true in Canada only.
October 8, 2008 the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) issued a warning that "the public not to consume, distribute, or sell the Sherwood Brands Pirate's Gold Milk Chocolate Coins . This product is being recalled due to positive test results for melamine conducted by the CFIA."

ReplyDeleteI've only stayed in one, "11 Singleton House" in Eureka Springs, Ark. My best friend (at the time) and I took a 1 week vacation together, and stayed in the "Bird Song Room". It was lovely! Very simple, just the way I like things!

Hi BJ - first - don't we have beautiful grandchildren? I had to throw that in. I have always wanted to stay at a B&B, especially when we visit the New England states. The B&Bs that you posted are lovely. My sister and I have talked about staying at a B&B. I just might be able to talk hubby into it.

ReplyDeletehubby and I ran a B&B there owned by Annie's Attic (the crochet pattern lady) until she filed bankruptcy!! It was just outside of Tyler, Tx....Queen Anne style with 13 bedrooms...thankfully there was a full-time housekeeper, a launderess, landscape crew and maintenance crew because she owned several other businesses there...what did I do, you ask...I stayed on the phone making reservations! We've never stayed in one though but we did live in one...LOL ;-) Bo
Thanks for the tour of homes BJ! All of these are grand and glorious, but you know all your friends here LOVE your home and all the beautiful touches. Girl, I have NO DOUBT that your children and grandchildren have nothing but lots of happy memories. You have such a joy of living, and it shows in all you do!
ReplyDeleteOh BJ, This was such great fun. What beautiful places. It brought back some nice memories for me. A number of years ago I had the pleasure of painting murals at a B&B in Alabama called Pine Flats Plantation. In exchange for my work...several very nice weekends.

Hello dear BJ, I love the way you dream...Dreams do come true. I have stayed in one B&B and It was beautiful. Oops, I forgot my cousin Kathy and her dh owned a B&B in Michigan. A huge red brick home built in the late 1800's. She completely re-furbished it and turned it in to a B&B and we spent a couple of nights with her a few years ago. It was wonderful.
